The unit was easy to put together. The re is an extension bar between the stake and unit that you can add or leave out to adjust height. The app was one I hadn't heard of: “HBN”, but it worked just like any other smart device app so I had it installed and the unit connected in no time. It was also easy to hook up to Alexa. I haven't spent a lot of time with it, but it does appear to power the whole unit (all six plugs) off one smart switch (so switching it on or off turns all six plugs on or off). I'm fine with that for my specific use anyway so I haven't tried to change that. I would recommend this product for a good outdoor stake/plug. I am a Walmart associate.

this is my second one so now i have two running christmas lights and inflatables. one is a good hundred feet from my house and still holds a connection.

This thing works amazingly well. I plugged it in, set a schedule, and don't have to touch it again until I pack up all the christams stuff. i will be using this for Halloween as well. It is absolutely perfect. I set a schedule for when I want the lights to turn on and off. I ended up wanting my blowup to go up earlier than my timer is set to turn on, so I just open the app and turn it on manually on the phone. This thing has worked very well. I would definitely recommend purchasing one as you can set timers, schedules or just turn it on and off manually. The app works great! I haven't found it to be plagued with bugs like other cheap electonics apps. 10 out of 5 stars!!! This was also a couple of dollars cheaper at Walmart.com than on a large online retailer that I have a subscription to. I may have had to wait an extra day to get it delivered from Walmart, though. no big deal. This also holds 6 plugs into it. If you need more, do what I did and get an extension cord that has multiple outlets on it as well. I found the 3 outlet gardner extension cord to be an excellent choice for decorations that are spaced out a bit.

Very easy setup and makes our Christmas lights so convenient to manage.

A lil difficult to get hooked up to WiFi but once you do works great. On a timer for Christmas lights and will use as extra plug all year round.

Love the concept. We have this set up to work some of our outdoor lights. I am using the phone app as I don't have Alexa. It turns the lights on at the correct time, but then they don't shut off until daylight. We can't figure out how to set a timer to turn them off at a specific time. I don't know if that's not a feature or not, but we will check into it when we have time.

I truly like this product the problem is in the connecting to 5G smart phone. The HBN system is 2.4 and with my Verizon smart phone and Xfinity internet it wouldn't complete the wifi download onto app to my phone. So HBN works, but only with dusk to dawn built in feature.

I purchased this for my mom's outdoor Christmas decorations. The app gave me issues at first setup. Being it only will connect to wifi at 2.4 and the home internet is 5.0 i struggled connecting till i remembered the wifi extender. This is the way to connect those stubborn setups. Next issue i had was the space to plug in the each decoration. all the outdoor inflatables have a large plug which is block by the door to the outlet. After shifting around the plugs and utilizing some extension cords i finally was able to get all the decorations install. Now wexare having issues getting the unit to turn off.
