HealthSmart® Suction Cup Grab Bar, 16"H x 2"W x 3 1/2"D, Sand

Like having a color option! Tired of gray or black for these handles. I also like the notification of how securely attached to the wall this is. Would like to see this same handle in the 12" version.

This bar attached and holds on tight to my shower(tiled) wall. I can position it to be in any place I need. Wish it was a little longer. It does the job nicely. There are indicators on both sides to show if it is firmly attached. I pulled on it with my full weight and it didn't budge.

Bought this for post hip surgery thinking it would only be temporary and could easily be removed when finished w therapy. But I really feel they are durable and am now thinking it is probably a good thing to have in the shower anyway, so I plan to continue using even after rehab. They feel very strong/sturdy and have not lost suction yet (2 wks). I think it was a good purchase for the price and would recommend.

Easy to attach to tile. Suction cups have held firm since I attached two weeks ago. For balance only. Just what I wanted for my shower over tub access.

Bought two, only one worked. Since it is being attached to glass, shouldn't be a problem, but couldn't get both suction cups to hold. Would actually just fall off after a while. The other one worked after some trial and error.

Does not adhere to flat shower wall ….very difficult to get it to stay in place using it horizontally keeps sliding off and falls off

Absolutely would not keep suction and I DID clean both bathtub and grab bar with alcohol. It was also too long...had to put it on tub edge literally touching the wall and the bottom edge reached to where tub edge narrows...only space it could be placed...then it was too far away for me to use it once in the tub.

Im scared to use this , as I installed it but it keeps losing suction easy without even being near it. Plus the switches are very hard to push down to keep it on the wall of shower. I did everything exactly as instruction manual says but I think if a better way to make it stay on the shower wall was possible then I can trust it to grab onto. I been using the very little edge of the tub against wall and side of tub on outer ledge to pull my weight up. Im close to 200 lbs so in my 40s my strength is weak with neuropathy and fibromyalgia. If u have weak muscle strength don't use these.. They need major improvement to keep on the wall somehow.. Mine is smooth glossy surface as the tub is the same finish.

The suction cups will not stay stuck to the wall. Will stay on for about one day.

Does not work! Followed instructions carefully and securely placed on my mother's porcelain tile shower and failed during first use. My mother (90 y/o) was holding on during shower, it suddenly popped off causing her to stumble
