The first day I set it up it was going to be a low 7 degrees. That's pretty cold so I wasn't really expecting much. But when I checked it the next morning it was still liquid. It hasn't been above freezing for at least 8 days now and it hasn't frozen once. Would definitely recommend for your outside friends.

It works great. The water doesn't freeze when I use it in freezing temperatures. Sturdy design. The small outdoor animals that I feed stay hydrated. My neighbors also feed the animals. But no one else provides water, so this water dish is very popular.

The item is as described and arrived on time. It holds about 3/4 of a gallon of water. I have not used it yet. The heated bowl that I was using stopped working after several years of use. It was from another company. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the cord is covered by plastic and not a metal spring like wrapping to help prevent the pets from possibly chewing on it.

I purchased this for the feral cats outside. The previous one that lasted two years during the freezing Chicago weather stopped working. I was so grateful Walmart shipped this the next day, was fast delivery, the cats and rest of the wild life thank you. Works great and even a Robin took over, takes a bath in it. It doesn't freeze the water so the cats can drink it

We like it because the outdoor cats like it. During this extrem cold the water did not freeze. One day I went out to fill the water bowl and a kitten was setting in the empty bowl. So I asked my husband if he wanted to order another one, because it has more than one use. LOL

I got these bowls to keep water thawed out for my chickens during the winter. They work great! The water stayed not only unfrozen, but actually a little warm even in below zero temperatures. I was so glad the chickens had warm water to drink to help them stay warm and hydrated all winter. The cord is a nice long length and is covered with a plastic tube that keeps the cord protected. I recommend this product for anyone with thirsty animals outside in the cold.

This bowl doesn't keep the water warm enough so the edges in the top of it is frozen still so it doesn't work as well as it should. I mean we live in Illinois so it could just be because we've really cold weather, but it doesn't keep the water warm enough to keep it from freezing.

Does not meet specifications in the item description. It is suppose to heat the water from 97-100 degrees. I had it plugged in for an hour and 45 minutes (inn my workshop which is inside). I have checked the water temperature with a thermometer and it never got over 75 degrees. What happen outside in the weather where it is meant to be used?

This bowl looks like the picture. HOWEVER, it clearly says this is a 108 ounce water bowl. It actually holds just a little over 64 ounces. That is 44 ounces less than what the description says. That is a BIG difference. So the ounce description is WRONG. The quality looks good. I can't return it as the nights are freezing now and I have to start using it right away to keep the outdoor water from freezing solid. I picked this one specifically for the 108 ounces it advertised and could not find the right size bowl in stores. The size is too small for the price they charge for this bowl. I am very disappointed.
