Sturdy but there isn't a smooth lining so foods might soak in, I'd imagine cheese would stick. However, if you don't want any type of plastic when microwaving food, this looks like a good choice. Its probably bleached paper, so if that's a concern you might check it out. The bowls were sturdy, good in the microwave. I used them while on vacation to warm up food in hotel microwave.
I like these because they are microwave safe. If Im putting like liquid like a soup or sauce I double the bowl. The second bowl stays clean. It cab be reused.
Love that these are environmentally friendly! Plastic and styrofoam are awful for the planet. But they are wrapped in plastic! Compostable packaging makes sense!
Durable enough to hold lunch portion nachoes from the office microwave. The cheese stuck a bit and I ended up eating some of the bowl but that's a user error not a bowl defect. Compostable means fiber right?
It works for a lot of things. It holds warm oatmeal. It does well with a microwaved (cooked beforehand burger patty). I emptied a small bag of chips into one and it held all of it.
I Like Walmart I like the products and prices What I hate is having to dress, fix my hair, and drive to Hayden from the Silverwood neighborhood It's about 11 miles. I'm old, 76, and I have bad arthritis and COPD and on oxygen 24/7. It's hard for me to go out! Heck, its hard to get ready to go out! All I want and need is DELIVERY! My daughter drives for Spark in Spokane She delivers way farther than I am from Walmart! Im a great delivery tipper too i will be 100% happy with Walmart when that happens
I'm not getting charged for food card. you guy's are changing my bank card all the time. It's supposed to be split with bank for things my food card will not pay for. thank you. Norma England ki
please read my review Dixie's 20 oz bowl; these are not strong, they're not reusable in any way at all, and they're basically landfill waste. sure they're compostable but so are all paper plates. don't bother.
I use Dixie usually which were not available. This helps decrease dishes when I work late. The plate softened so did not hold up well. Too scared to Try soup in it.
Apparent, you can't get them wet. Several spots where the SPOON was scooping paper. And we didn't even eat out of it, just nuked it and scooped it out.
