Functional, and fairly priced
These are the way to go if you have indoor/outdoor cats. Last thing you want is them to get caught on a tree branch or something, and hang their neck up by mistake. So I always get the breakaways for safety reasons. They are priced fairly/cheap enough to replace from time to time if they do get lost, and the safety peace of mind is worth it. I'd recommend.

I bought both of my cats these collars because they are a soft cotton covered with a safety release. They have been more comfortable with these collars. No more itchy collars for my cats.

only bad i found is my cat was able to open the ring and get the bell off within 3 minutes

Choking hazard
They were pretty. My cat was able to scratch and pop off the collar within a hour. The 2nd collar was 15 minutes. I caught her with the bell and flower off of it and she was chewing on the flower. If I hadn't been home or paying attention, she could of choked. It is not safe for cats!

Don't waste your money.
It definitely was a breakaway collar. It broke in the first 5 minutes I put it on my cat.
