Of course they nailed it! Taste is on par with the non vegan version, no one in my family notices the difference. If you have them side by side there might be a more noticeable difference, but as a vegan I love the taste and the perfect texture. Just Mayo is my favorite but the price point on Hellmans can't be beat. Great on sandwiches, in sauces, pasta salads.. so tasty! Same size jar as the regular one.

We use vegan mayo due to an egg allergy and this is the closest option to the taste of regular mayo that we have found. We use this to replace mayo in recipes and on sandwiches and it tastes great. Highly recommend for anyone that is either vegan or needs to avoid eggs.

I LOVE this plant-based mayonnaise!! I began using this because my stomach always became so upset when I made things using regular mayonnaise. I really enjoy the taste and texture of this mayonnaise. I use it in everything, dressings, sandwiches, tuna fish and chicken salad! I am grateful!

I've bought this many times. I'm impressed with the flavor and price. Hellman makes the best plant based mayo and gives us the best price. I bet people who eat egg-based mayo wouldn't know the difference. I ate egg-based for 40 years. Sometimes, I can't eat it all before it expires. Otherwise, I've never had any issues with it.

Tastes even better than regular mayonnaise and doesn't contain egg or soy. I can only find the squeeze bottles on shelves now, but the larger bottles are available online. If you can't eat eggs or soy, but enjoy foods made with mayonnaise like potato salad, you should give it a try.

I hope that everyone reads the whole review. I gave 5 stars because the Hellmann's Plant Based Mayo is a great product and we use it all the time and it is very tasty. It is also good to make tartar sauce with. We especially like the large 30oz jar (we hate those little upside down squeeze containers, you waste so much!). But this product has come to us two times in a row damaged and this one was a replacement for the first damaged one. This time Walmart just gave us a refund. What is especially good about Walmart is that they didn't require us to return the damaged product, although that also means we got one less than what we expected. We had ordered 3 Best Foods Vega Mayos and 3 Hellmann's Mayo. The Best Foods Mayo came well packaged so that they arrived in good shape, The Hellmann's came with no packing material at all and the jars just rolled and bumped all over the place. Two survived but one was damaged and leaked. I'm surprised that they all weren't damaged. The replacement jar came packed (unpacked) the same way. No packaging inside the box to protect it. Maybe they came from two different sources. Nobody is perfect, but twice in in a row is not good. But they made good on it so I credit them for that and appreciate it. Thank you Walmart!

This is hands down THE BEST mayo alternative I've ever had. I developed an egg alergy in my late 30s and it was devastating to say the least. anyway; I had completely given up mayo because finding a replacement was nearing impossible; until I found this! Everything about it. The color, texture, smell, taste. It literally tastes like mayo. My mother, who is team Hellmans swore she'd could never eat this(bahaha). i decided to make her one of her favorites, like top 5 meal choices. Chicken salad. Little did she know it wasnt mayo, anf she devoured that sandwich. My mom saw it on the counter when she came for seconds immediately ate her crow. Anyway, if you made it through that story, even a mayo lovers tastebuds can be tricked

The plant based mayonnaise just taste a little bit different than the other mayonnaise. But honestly, my children couldn't tell the difference. I think I only knew because well I knew that it was different. But I still use it and everything and I like the taste.

I love that there is a vegan/plant based Mayo on the market that is close to the original flavor profile. I am actually a Miracle Whip gal and have never been a fan of regular Mayo but this is a very good alternative. Not fake like some of the other vegan tasting products on the market. Only issue is all products are priced too high, including regular Mayo.
