The bags work fine for cookies, you could fit 5 regular size cookies in a back. They do not expand on the side.

I bought these to package Christmas cookies for my neighbors. Unfortunately, these bags did not have a bottom gusset as advertised. Without a flat bottom it was difficult to stack the cookies and they didn't hold as much as a wanted to give. Lastly, about one out of every 8 split down the side as I opened them . They were less expensive than others I found online now I know why.

These were supposed to be gusseted bags and they were flat. I needed them TODAY, and have to make due. This is why Walmart will never be Amazon. Most Amazon sellers pay attention to what they're sending.
