I love drinking chocolate milk as a recovery drink after working out. I use coconut milk rather than dairy milk as the chocolate masks the taste. A couple of years ago, I moved on from regular Hershey's syrup due to the ingredients, e.g., high fructose corn syrup, etc. Simply five is wonderful. Perhaps a bit more expensive, but worth it. Much thicker than the traditional "plastic" offering. It tastes great!
I HAD NEVER HEARD OF HERSHEY'S SIMPLY 5 AND DECIDED TO ORDER IT BASED ON THE SIMPLE INGREDIENTS. I TRIED IT AS SOON AS IT ARRIVED. I ADDED SOME SYRUP, STIRRED AND IT WAS READY TO DRINK. I LIKED HOW EASY IT MIXED AND IT TASTED DELICIOUS. 33 SERVINGS ACCORDING TO THE BOTTLE. THAT'S 17 CENTS A SERVING. DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
This is my favorite variety of Hershey syrup over all the other kinds they produce. Price is okay for the quality but love to buy on sale more than not. Dislike that this brand rarely goes on sale. Love the least ingredients makes it less worry over unhealthier long list of preservatives and junk.
This is how all chocolate syrup should be. None of the HFCS and other highly processed ingredients. If this can be made with a few simple ingredients, then all others can be as well. It is a bit more expensive however worth it. The taste is great and it mixes well in iced coffee or milk.
this product is amazing and delicious. It is gluten and dairy free. As a dairy free person this is one of the very few chocolate products that I can buy. In my opinion it tastes better than the regular Hershey's. it has more of a dark chocolate tase because it is milk free. nothing but good things to say about this product. my only complaint is that it is EXPENSIVE! wish this was offered to the public at a more affordable price. I'm tired of getting price gouged for the products that my body requires. this is literally TWICE the price as a bottle of the regular Hershey's syrup.
this is the Hershey's chocolate syrup I used to eat years ago before they replaced the real sugar with crap. it tastes much better so you don't have to use as much as you do the other in the brown bottle. the price however has gone from $2.50 to $6 that's ridiculous.
I actually, like this product better than original Hershey’s chocolate syrup. It has a completely natural chocolate taste, and dissolves nicely in milk, just as the original. I have also used it on ice cream and really enjoy the taste and texture just as much as the regular version. This one has natural ingredients and more genuine chocolate taste.
This is a fresh change to see' with Hershey's Simply 5 Chocolate Syrup, No High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) Sugar is still a concern however for Hershey's this is a step in the right direction,
Great fudgy taste. The only chocolate syrup I found with no HFCS. HFCS is only able to be metabolized by the liver.....that's a bad thing. Throw out any food with HFCS, your liver will thank you!
This syrup is very over priced at $5 plus depending on when you order it. Walmart used to sell it for $3.85-3.95 but now it's 20% plus higher. I found a good alternative at Kroger.
