I got these screws to fix my mini frig. The door on the tiny freezer broke off, so I put this screw where the little extension was that broke off. It fits right into the track. And we have a freezer again. Not very big but heck living in a motel is not my dream home either.
These are high quality screws at a fair price, I have used these in sheet metal, cement board, and wood, the point on the screw holds up and the head of the screw can take a lot of torque without stripping out. I have used boatloads of these, indoors and outside in the weather, and they are always quality. Thanks..
Perfect for the project I used them for. Drilled nicely into the wall. The rounded head make hanging pictures a piece of cake as long as you leave yourself a tiny bit of clearance between it and the wall.
Perfect size package for a small auto body repair job and at a very economical price. Definitely recommend!
They were exactly what I needed to hand up my new ikea shelves! I loved they were in an affordable small pack since I didn't need a ton of Screws.
Really good for hard to screw placements
Definitely meet expectations. Very good quality and value!
They were a great replacement
Description on most of these are incorrect. They show a picture of Phillip's head but the description says hex head. The ones I ordered were as the picture, not as described in the product details.
These are terrible. I made a review for the shorter version of these (%238 x 3/4), but these are even worse. They are too top heavy and even harder to screw in than the shorter ones. You can forget about drilling wood or metal without a pilot hole and/or alignment tube. The listing on both of these are incorrect, they list that it has a "hex drive" when in fact it is a Phillips head. This is why it keeps falling over and there is not enough torque for self-drilling. I discovered only one or two possible uses case for this... Drilling carboard, but even that requires special tools to prevent it from wobbling. It fits well into Lego Technic, so if you ever want to combine Lego Technic into cardboard, you could do that. I believe it might work for drywall, but only if you have a stack of lego technic to guide into place. Other than that, I can't think of any valid STEM reason for this. It's not great at drilling lego technic, because there is a slight amount of wobble to it (maybe 0.1 or 0.25mm, not sure.) So its not even great at holding lego technic pieces. The design is simply too flawed and top heavy, and the Philips head is too small to have enough drilling torque. If you need to drill a pilot hole first, then a self-drilling screw is pointless, so I don't see what the point of this is, other than drywall and cardboard stuff? And if you're gonna use it for drywall, then you'd better get some Lego Technic to align it in place.
