I have been wanting to buy a new TV for a while now and I finally did it. I was a little nervous buying this brand but between the good reviews and Walmarts return policy, I really couldn’t go wrong. So I took the plunge. I’m so glad I did. I’ve only had the TV for a day. But out of the box the picture is amazing. So bright, full of color. So nice and clear. Such a big difference from my old TV. I told myself if there was not a drastic difference in the picture that I would return it. Last month I returned another brand TV because there really was no difference in the picture. I’m very happy with my purchase. I love the backlit remote too.
The Hisense 55U78QG delivers impressive picture quality with vibrant colors, strong contrast, and smooth motion. Setup was straightforward, and the smart TV features are responsive and easy to navigate. Great for movies, sports, and gaming. Overall, it offers outstanding performance and value for the price paid.
I was skeptical of this budget brand especially based on the price but was throughly impressed with the quality of the tv overall and I purchased it on sale and have noticed the price has went up dramatically in just 1 month must be due to the word has got out ?
The 55 inch U75QG comes with a different panel vs it's bigger brothers in the series. It uses an ADS Pro IPS panel instead of a VA panel. Even though it doesn't have anywhere near the contrast of the VA panels, Hisense compensates by packing it with 1300 local dimming zones so the blacks are relatively crisp with minimal bloom. This panel doesn't have the issues of the VA panels either like black smearing or motion ghosting so gaming is great on this thing. Colors pop, motion has minimal blur in games like monster hunter and the input lag is extremely low with no vrr flickering. The sound is great with a good subwoofer for a TV it's great. I was skeptical of the IPS panel but modern TVs are packed with dimming zones to control brightness with blacks on the screen. I almost went for the more expensive TCL but i heard of too many issues with pc gaming on it. I'm impressed so far with the u7.
Because the tv is a 2025 model and it's now 2026 it was a little tricky to set up as it had to update software twice in a row. Once it's set up the picture looks great and even the built in speakers are clear. Happy with the purchase.
Easy to set up and get the satellite working. I have an older stereo so instructions to get the correct hookup to get audio from the Google TV I had to ask Gemini.
This tv was a pleasant surprise quality of picture is great sound is great . I played my ps5 on it was amazing overall this tv is a great buy need good quality tv I highly recommend this tv
Such a great upgrade from a years old LG. The Google OS is slick and the display looks great so far.
Very nice picture but poor to no directions re how to connect internet and get your fire stick remote to work on a new tv. Thank goodness for UTube.
