This TV exceeds my expectations! Hisense is unsung hero of the television game. It rivals the major players in the space at a much more affordable price. I'm always nervous with purchases like this, but this TV has put my mind at ease! Cannot recommend more!
Great TV, amazing picture for the price. I went to Rtings.com before purchasing this and they were impressed by the features, so I decided to buy. The user interface is responsive and the remote works well. I like that the remote has bluetooth as well, so you don't require line of sight to the TV to use it. HDR content is amazing and the local dimming works very well. There is some blooming with hard black and white transitions (like subtitles) but it's more than acceptable. I don't own an OLED TV, but I bet it's comparable without all the burn in risk. I no longer need a FireTV stick or Chromecast as this TV has everything built in. The standard TV features work well too. It is not ATSC3, so don't expect UHD over the air but that doesn't bother me. Standard HD OTA TV channels look good enough and I have my own media or streaming for UHD viewing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing tv. Very clear picture and the user interface is smooth and easy to use. I like the very small border around the tv. Good speakers too. Many settings available to adjust to your liking. This tv works very well in a bright room. I can see the tv no problem even in direct bright sun. If you are thinking of saving a little money and going with LED instead of OLED like I was, get this one. It's worth it.
TV is amazing for PS5. Great size and perfect for both gaming and content viewing. Google built in is an amazing feature. Highly recommended as a great option for those who want gaming monitor latency at 4k 120htz but also have a traditional tv set up for content viewing like netflix
TV is exactly as described, Great Picture, Features and Looks. Setup is a Breeze, Don't be scared of the Brand. I find it to be just as much Quality as the Samsungs I have purchased over the years!
Really good value for the money!
i have had it for a week only, but so far so good. need get some used to the functioning's.
The Standard video quality was very good. My only disappointment was the poor upscale video for viewing VHS tapes. For most situations and individuals, this should not be a concern. I had an audio failure one and a half days after setting up the TV and returned it to Walmart without any problems.
With all of its great reviews, I had high hopes for this TV. Maybe I got a dud but it did not work out for me at all. The TV didn't need to do much: I wanted to view cable TV, Netflix, and DVDs and to listen through headphones. So what's the problem? Picture: the picture is very good for everything except cable TV channels that are not HD; the HD channels are fine Remote: not always responsive even after doing the weird reset recommended by multiple sources on the Internet. Also the channel up/down buttons will not change the cable TV channels so you're always using two remotes. Support: polite. “SAFE MODE”: this term appears periodically on the screen for no apparent reason. According to many on the Internet it's an Android issue. Hisense support is “not aware of any Safe Mode feature on our unit”. Turning the set on/off gets rid of it but it will be back. Start-up: The TV always starts up at the Home Screen positioned to start Netflix. I want it to start up at a cable TV channel but, no, that's always 7 clicks away on the clumsy remote. Inconvenient but would not be a deal breaker if all else was well. Bluetooth headphones. The headphones confirmed pairing and the Hisense device settings confirmed the connection, but the TV would not allow me to select Bluetooth for audio and I could never get audio through these headphones. Wireless headphones. No connection guidance in the manual. Finally connected the headphone dock to the correct TV outlet after finding the wrong info on the Internet. Wanted TV speakers off while using headphones, finally tracked down the setting and - - a miracle - - I had sound through headphones. For one night. The next day, without changing any settings, only Netflix had audio. There was no audio from the cable TV channels. I disconnected the headphones from the TV, then did a complete reset of the TV. Still no audio even though I could see the audio level bar increase as I tried to increase sound with the remote. At this point I had spent countless hours and done many resets over 5 days to try to use this TV. I can't tell you what happened to the audio because that was the point I decided I had to return the TV and boxed it up. I borrowed a ten-year old 32” Samsung to use temporarily: cable TV, Netflix, DVD player, and headphones all set up in less than 30 minutes.
I was excited to try out my first Hisense TV.. the value for features was the best (I am a gamer). Unfortunately after plugging in the TV there was a black line that ran across the left side of the tv and other distortion (defective). I requested a refund, I will not take another chance with them. Good luck!!
