Hisense 55-Inch Class U6 Series Mini-LED QLED Google Smart TV (55U6K) - QLED, 600-Nit, Dolby Vision IQ & Dolby Atmos, Full Array Local Dimming

I wanted a full array led backlit TV since I have this in fairly bright room. I took a chance on Hisense, a brand I had never heard of, because of the price and good reviews about the picture quality. This TV has a great picture and I am happy with it. The sound is find for normal viewing but you can always add a sound bar or bluetooth speaker. Many reviews complained about the Google TV (also called Android TV) being slow and buggy on Hisense TV's. I did not find this the case on mine. I have a good wifi connection and Google TV ran fine. Google TV itself is usable once you search the internet and find out how to uncover all it's features and add apps and programs. A lot of these features like Play Store for Google TV are unnecessarily buried in menus but are there. Overall I call this TV a good value. I was insentivized and small gift coupon for doing this review, but I stand by the review without the invcentive.

I wasn't familiar with the Hisense brand but this particular mini-LED was well rated. After hooking up the TV, I was not impressed with the picture quality but found that I was not on a HD channel. Once I switched to an HD channel I found the picture quality to be excellent. The set up was straightforward except for registering for the warranty - the online warranty signup had trouble uploading the proof of purchase.

From removing from the box to viewing our first show was as simple as could be. Easy setup, beautiful colors. After spending time comparing different manufacturers and models, so happy we chose this one. Highly recommend 👌.

this tv is amazing for the price, the colors are vivid and the brightness after adjusting settings is great even for well lit rooms. also the fact that is has Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos makes it worth the price.

Out of the box, picture was not great. After a few settings, it is very close to my TCL series 6 mini led which is much more expensive. The sound is better than the TCL 6. It's weight is 60 lbs, heavier.than expected. It was also well boxed and arrrved in perfect condition. Unlike Roku, the Google tv has Bluetooth which is open to a variety of devices. There. Is even a web browser. The setup was awful. Problems were mainly with connecting to a mesh router. Google tv on the Hisense is slower than the chrome cast. Over all, it is a great bargain with a first rate picture.

Change the sound type, change the picture type, what can I say both are spectacular. This had to be the best TV out there in the budget price range. The picture shows the menu. It's different than Roku, but you can change it back to Roku when you want. i haven't figured out how to make the sound on the Roku Remote work yet though, so that is kind of a pain.

The TV is very excellent and the size is appropriate, except for the update speed. If it had been higher, the experience would have been very wonderful. Other than that, everything is excellent... and the delivery process is very wonderful and on time.

Box is huge. A little heavy. Thankfully the FedEx guy brought inside. Box had some damage. Shipped from CA,across country. Haven't had a new tv in years so not sure how it compares to other models but we like it. Sound is ok but we still use closed captioning. Was looking at 50 inch but this 55 inch was the better deal with the full array dimming. Had to change the cabinet to set it on since the legs are near the ends. As long as it lasts for sometime I think we will be happy with the purchase. Arrived early.

I highly regret this purchase. It doesn't work. It won't stay connected to my internet. Constantly buffering. Watching anything is an excruciating process.
