After 20 years, I needed to replace my Window Fan. I chose this one since I can take it apart to clean it easily. I use the fan in my kitchen window as a ventilation unit when I'm cooking. So, the inside gets "gunky" fast. My old one only lasted one year as the "Vent" and it was unable to be taken apart to be cleaned it stopped working.
I've been taking it back next week as soon as I get my truck back I think or $37 too small hey check and see what the prices now they drop like a walk
Fan rattles at first startup but stops after a minute or two. 60 degrees F is as low as it goes. Would prefer to be able to set it in the 50's. The room air gets too hot at 60 as the sensor combines with the outside temp. Also turning on my stereo triggers the display...but not a big deal.
Functionality of controls are good. This is about all that I like of this twin fan. I still have the old version of this fan from 20 years ago and it still works. This new version has less max air flow, but at a lower noise level. This fan also has much more flimsy side vents that don't stay in their position when locking them because the lock is easy to become unlocked with minor movement of the fan. Fan is not worth its price. Although I couldn't find another twin fan of better construction. Wish this manufacturer still made their fan from the early 2000s
I wish I would've read that the thermostat was set at 5 degree increments. its just not precise enough. kinda noisy as well. I think the pitch of the blades need to be of a higher angle. Not much air coming in for such rpm I do like the remote and over all simplicity. i have 3 window fans and this one is my least preferred. i keep it in the least used window. No, I would not recommend to others, mainly because of the 5 degree increments.
I haven't had it that long and it already has one of the fans not working. It's not as strong as the one I had before in my window, but I figured I was gonna like it because I can clean it which I couldn't do on the one I had before. Unfortunately, I haven't had this one long enough to use that feature. So hopefully I can exchange it for another one. Who knows maybe something happened during shipment and we can give it a second chance.
I have had this fan only a year or so and it was replacement because the same one prior just stopped spinning one day. It is so loud and annoying. I would love to have it replaced
Very disappointed with this fan. I had to stand very close to the fan to feel any air flow and it was on its highest speed, I was surprised by that because it was in the evening and it wasn't hot outside. A box fan put out more air than this crap. Brought this fan months ago, set it aside because I was moving and I just opened it today. Waste of my money. Brand names are not what they use to be,
Broke immediately out of the box. Right side fan worked for all of 5 minutes and now will not turn at all. Left side still works, right side completely inoperable.
We've had this fan for about 2 months and the left fan has stopped working when it's blowing in. Not sure if ours is just defective or if the quality just sucks.
