Just the best weights ever

These weights are perfect for my daily walking workouts. The weight placement is adjustable. Because the actual weight bars are adjustable I can not only use them for wrist weights, but I can also use them for ankle weights. They are a fun bright pint color too!

The HOMEGYM wrist and ankle weights are well made and comfortable to wear. Unlike older such weights, these are not uneven pods of sand that shift, but flat smooth sections of solid weight material covered with a plastic-like material which makes the weights flat and comfortable on both my ankles or wrists. The Velcro and elastic adjustable straps are smooth and do not curl at the edges and attach easily to arms or ankles. I'm a female in my 70's and walking is my primary form of exercise. Since I'm a regular walker my legs are strong, but I always need more arm exercises. I plan to wear these weights on my wrists while walking to create an additional benefit at the same time I'm walking. The one-pound weights measure three inches wide and seven inches long with the weight sections slid together. The width of the weights provides for even weight distribution, but you will need to remove watches and wearable data collection devices while wearing the weights on wrists. This should not be a problem as most wearables have the option of using a clip to hold the device. The weights arrived in a sturdy box with pictures of ways to exercise with the weights on. The only information that I could not find on the box was the composition of the plastic-like material covering the weight sections. If it is a latex product, it would be helpful to have this information on the box to warn those individuals with latex allergy.

I was a bit skeptical at first, since I wanted to use these in my Zumba class and I was afraid they would slide up my arm without the thumb locks to hold them in place. But they don't slide at all! They are adjustable elastic and fit my wrist snugly but comfortably with no slipping. Easy on and off with a generous patch of velcro. The weight is perfect. Part of the class is 'regular' Zumba, then we add toning sticks to the dances. I leave these 1lb weights on my wrist and add a 2lb toning stick for the perfect combination of weight. I like these much better than the type with the thumb locks; they're much more comfortable and less cumbersome.

Very nice bangle weights. I love the style and the pretty pink color. They stretch to fit your ankle or wrists. Goes great with my other workout tools. For yoga, Pilates, running, walking, & home workouts. Adds resistance training to any workout. Weights are one pound each and there are two of them. I will be using these a lot in my daily exercises. Love these weights!

I was worried that these ankle or wrist weights would not be comfortable. Surprisingly, they actually are comfortable. The Velcro does a very good job of allowing for lots of adjustments (as needed depending on if you are doing ankles or wrists). As well, the Velcro holds securely and firmly (though I would not want to go too crazy and lose a weight like those Wii remotes that ruined TV's!!) Love the pink color. It is also nice that they are not super heavy- they are heavy enough to step up your workout. Although, during said workout they sure did feel heavy!! I do recommend these weights!

These weights came along at the perfect time. I just finished 6 rounds of chemo and it has kicked my butt. I have lost weight and a lot of muscle tone. I have started walking and doing some light exercise to try to regain some stamina and muscle. The weight is perfect. I put these on my ankles when I walk the dogs or on my wrists when I'm cleaning the house and get a double workout. Great way to amp up your workout.

I've worn these on my ankles for outdoor bike rides to burn extra calories. These are only 1 lb each so they are pretty lightweight. I have also worn them on my ankles while walking on trails. I like that they are not super bulky or uncomfortable. I forget that I'm wearing them after a while. I'm girly and love the color pink but I wish these came in a bright hot pink color. I love adding bright colors to my fitness routines since bright colors seem more energetic.

Nice flexible ankle/wrist weights. Easy to put on with strong Velcro closure. Comfortable to wear as the flexible segments allow for easy movement. They are large so you will want to wear leggings or capris or perhaps a boot cut pant. I don't think I could wear these at the office. These weights are also good to wear on your wrists while out for a walk or jog. They are a little cumbersome and will take some getting use to. However, a good value and they get the job done. Just wish they were smaller.

After years of not keeping shape, I decided to start out with these wrist and ankle weights. I have to admit, they are a bit heavier than I expected. After a couple of days of use on my wrists and ankles, I got use to using them. I will say that, it was easier and more comfortable using them on my wrists. I wore them around the house while cleaning and they stayed in place pretty well. On my ankles, I did not wear socks or place the weights over my clothing. It was slightly uncomfortable due to the velcro rubbing on my ankles. I did wear the over my spandex pants and the comfort level changed for the better. I'd recommend these weights for those who want to maybe tone things up.
