Very good my 10th time purchases for my old Honeywell purifier have had it a long time
Absolutely what I needed for my air purifier!
makes it easy to cut, and install, new filter at three month recommended replacement. Old filter is covered with a white deposit after continues use. Secondary filter still looks clean. The paper cutting guide makes it easy to maintain replacement filter detentions. Filter run at lowest speed to increase efficiency. Seems to be working.
This product was exactly as described, fitting perfectly and enough for two filters which makes this a great choice. This air purifier filter is made to keep the air clean and eliminate pet orders.
Work just as well as the pre-cut filters and they can be cut precisely using the enclosed template. I cut them a little over the template and then checked it against the air purifier and trimmed accordingly. There is some waste and it does take a few minutes to cut them.
The white spots indicating these are the A version are missing. Manufacturer's issue I suspect, will be contacting them. I had to go ahead and use because after the first two months of using the air purifiers, a change was desperately needed.
I bought the "official" Honeywell A replacement pre-filter. It's definitely not the same quality as the original one that came with the unit. It's thin and flimsy (see attached pics), and you can see right through it. I imagine a lot more dust will be reaching the HEPA filters. During the 3 month duration that you're supposed to use it, I would periodically take the pre-filter out and vacuum it off. This new one won't hold up to that. It also shed a lot of charcoal dust on my floor when I laid it out the cut to size (again, pics). Not well done Honeywell, very disappointed, especially for the price. I guess I'll be trying the generic filters next time and save myself some money.
I am confident these are this is from Honeywell. It is totally ridiculous that there quality of this filter material is probably only one fifth the thickness of the original filter. I could understand if the box and product info stated that these could be used on many different purifiers, but the box specifically says the filter is for the Honeywell HPA300. I definitely recommend buying a different brand that has been reviewed by others that says their filter is exactly the same quality as the original. I hope this helps others. Love this air purifier, but this company is misrepresenting replacement/maintenance parts then trying to advertise that only their product should be used.
You would expect that a pre-filter labeled "A " would be better than the original "A". But as other reviewers have warned, this pre-filter has a very low density. My old/original pre-filter with the dust blown out of it by a compressor barely shows any light when held to a window. This pre-filter lets the light pour through. So how much filtering is it really doing? The "odor reducing" white spots are sparsely scattered. So how much odor are they really grabbing? Already scheduled a return. Will be ordering the original "A" pre-filter next. But if it is the same quality, I will have to consider buying a generic replacement instead. Honeywell needs to quality control its sub-contractors before they ruin the name.
very thin, can totally see through. many spots of brown powder. didn't smell good in the air purifier. had to return. worse than A filter. They used to be good.
