I bought this for a 300 square foot room that gets direct sunlight, in LOUISIANA. the unit not only works, it works tremendously! the room is beyond comfortable, bordering on cold! I bought a cheaper unit before Christmas 2020...this one blows it away. There is no comparison. I spent quite a while comparing different units, and went with the Honeywell....I'm totally satisfied.

This is a great cooling unit. It runs very quiet and appears to be very effective.

I live in townhouse and the master bedroom is in top floor. I had the same issue as other multiple story building owners reported, the top floor gets too hot and doesn't matter what AC temperature I set it was never enough. There was time when I was running 4 fans from every direction to cool it down. Finally I decided to go for portable AC. I was reluctant at first because there are mixed reviews about portable ACs in general but didn't have any other options so had to give it a try. I did lots of research and finalized this AC and so far this is the best investment I have mad. This AC literally blast the cold air and my master bathroom gets cool within 10-15 mins. The best part about this unit is that it has thermostat so you can set the desired temp and it will maintain that. I don't have to worry about it keeps running. It has 3 fan speed to select and can also use it as either AC or just Fan or a humidifier. There is one negative points this unit has is that it's little bit loud. It is definitely not for someone who likes quite at night to sleep. I like white noise and use to of using fan so I got used to of the AC noise in w days. Other then that this is the best portable AC to consider.

I received this product two days after ordering on line. Installation was fairly simple and I am very pleased with the volume of cold air this Honeywell puts out. This will take a load off the central air conditioning unit.

We love this a/c unit. our main a/c struggles when outside temps go over 109 F. Adding this in keeps us at 80 F inside the house. My wife is exstatic.

Effective cooling for my 400sf living area. (Do not rely on square footage recommdations!! Add 25% - 50% depending upon outside temperatures.) Fan cycles off and on with compressor. (If used in a sleeping area, this would likely be disruptive.) Instructions should add an illustration of the two exhaust hose ends. Attachment to the unit should be first, before window end. Fan noise is less than 2 other units I've owned. Air flow from this unit is substantially higher than other units I've owned. This portable a/c unit seems to be well-built and stable. Expanding hose is heavier duty than other mfgers - and, is 12" shorter. Electrical cable is longer. Wing nuts to hold window panel is a good idea, however they are too small and hard to grip. Be sure to install air sealers around window panel and at exhaust hose ends. Hot air leaking - being sucked inside wastes energy! Two days after I placed my order, the price dropped by $60.00 :-( Have not used it for heating function as yet. The Serial Number for Registration is on a small sticker, located basically below the exhaust hose. Write down this tiny number, BEFORE proceeding with hose installation!!!

I purchased two units for areas smaller than that for which the unit is rated (250sf). Each unit cools its space down in less than 10 minutes, and after a half hour I have to turn it off. Not as noisy as other units I've had but their only a month old. It would be nice if the hose were longer; one unit sits on a block of wood for hose to reach window.
