This fan has a lot of power but still operates very quietly. I work as a professional cook and bought the fan for the kitchen and am not disappointed!
Purchased this fan a few weeks ago and have used it every day. It is placed at the bottom of our steps of the lower level of our house to send up the cool air. With the fan running on high, we have been able to adjust our air conditioner two degrees. It is very quiet compared to other fans we have used. I didn't know if this little fan would meet our expectations, but it sure did. We have yet to see how long it will last, but have already saved money in our electric bill, I'm sure.
Very quiet. Sturdy base. Great size. We bought two--one for the upstairs landing and the second for the kitchen dinning-room area--just to kick the breeze through the house. No remote however.
This fan is really quiet and the air circulation is great. We run this and the ceiling fan in the den and set the AC on a higher temperature than we used to. Because it's designed to be an air circulator it doesn't have to be turned towards you. You can turn the fan up to face the ceiling fan and cool the entire room. Great value!
This fan works great putting out plenty of cool air in the room. I put it on my dresser, and I can feel it blowing at the head of my bed. The size is just right, and I like the dark black color. It moves up, and down so that is good. The stand around it is very sturdy. The cord goes from the middle of my long dresser to the plug outlet which is great. It is all plastic so it is light weight. This is just the right one for my two doggies, and I to keep cool.
The HF-910 fan is larger than I expected, and it works very well to cool a large area. I bought this fan to replace the HF-810 fans that I had for several years. Although the HF-910 is much quieter than the HF-810, it doesn't blow the same amount of air as the HF-810 did. No fan I have come across can replace the previous Mega Turbo High Velocity HF-810 fan. Anyway, the HF-910 is a very good fan. I've had it for almost two weeks and it keeps me very cool. When I turn it on, it feels like I put on the air conditioner. Yes, I haven't had to run my AC since I got this fan, because this fan blows and circulates the air throughout my very large apartment. I would recommend the HF-910 fan to anyone who has a medium/large size living space. It is worth the money, and it is reasonable priced. I have no regrets with this Honeywell fan.
Tilting fan is very convenient, though having the controls on the back, not so much. Fan is stable and large but the force of the fan is extremely WEAK. As someone who used Lasko box fans, purchased 10 years ago, I'm really appalled at how weak all the fans are now. The popular Lasko 20" fan is such a weak imitation of its previous iteration that I tried this twice as expensive fan in hopes of getting something reasonably powerful. While better than the current Lasko box fan, this is pretty terrible, too, and only noticeable at all when run on high.
For those who use a fan year round this fan is not for you . It does not generate the air as it states in the description . It has a medium speed and does not push air in the room.
I am extremely disappointed with this fan. I specifically wanted a Honeywell to replace one I had had for four or five years which had performed brilliantly. Although this one was very quiet, it did not seem to be the "turbo force" it was supposed to be and, after three weeks, it died on me. I still had the receipt so returned it right away and got my money back as I did not wish to replace it. In the future, I will probably not buy another fan by this manufacturer.
This fan is super quiet and doesn't blow very hard. Don't believe the name .
