HOPE'S Brass Polish, Protective Tarnish Remover for Brass, Copper, Chrome, Sterling Silver, 8 Fl Oz, Pack of 1

I searched for a polish I could use on lacquered brass. More than a few people said Hope's could be used, so I bought it. I wanted to preserve the lacquered finish on a grandfather clock dial, but get it noticeably cleaner. It's over 100 years old. I received the polish and it says on the label, twice, not to use this on lacquered surfaces. SO! I decided to strip the lacquer, polish, and wax the dial. This product is amazing on unlacquered, bare metal brass. I haven't tried it on anything else. But on this, it is excellent. It is as good, and may be better than my old standby, Simichrome. And it's a LOT cheaper. While I was led astray by the inaccurate recommendations of others, I can still say this stuff works great for what it is designed for. So far, I am very impressed.

I have used other products, but I found this to be the best not only cleaned my copper bathroom sink. It left a shine and endure the whole week with that shine. I love it great product.

These Handmade Brass Aftaba Ewer Water Pitcher are older than me. I've used different methods to clean and polish, including a competitors product. Hope's Brass Polish and Cleaner exceeded my expectations. See the difference in the attached photos. The label says for heavy tarnish to used the copper polish 1st, which I might try the next time I clean. But the amount of tarnish removed and the shine is amazing, the photos don't do it justice, it's polished better than I've seen before. Best advantage is the lack of fumes. Hope's Brass Polish and Cleaner is a GREAT product! Glad that I purchased it!

HOPE'S Brass Polish is a simply awesome product! It makes old, tarnished brass shine with renewed luster. The price is very reasonable and I have already ordered a second bottle.

the product is simple to use and itll clean up any tarnished silver in an instant as long as it's not been too long for a polishing. it really works fast and without too much scrubbing
