Hormel completes mac and cheese is a great snack by itself or as accompaniment to green beans and can be used as a side for fajitas.
I was/am pleasantly surprised at how yummy 'HORMEL COMPLEATS Macaroni %26 Cheese' is! I had preconceived notions it would taste cheap, and might be mushy! WRONG! It's perfect! I will buy more! :)
This mac and cheese is delicious, as good as any I've had. Great with tuna or chicken as a quick meal and also great as just a side. Pssst, c'mer kid, have you ever tried mac and cheese with crispy bacon pieces mixed in it? Do it and do it soon! :)
Great product, stays the same.
This used to be my favorite but the last two times I bought it it wasn't good. They had brown stuff at the bottom AND looked funny on the top. So I waited a long time before trying it again. This time it looked good, almost normal, on top so I salted it and started eating, happy and thinking they had finally fixed the issue because the taste was also better than the previous times. Not so. They STILL have something brown at the bottom of the container and needless to say, once you have eaten it and then see that you have eaten some of this unidentified brown "stuff", it grosses you out and you do NOT want to ever have it again ! The last time I had great mac and cheese, it was the Marketside one and it spoiled me as it was even better than this has ever been. I'll be sticking with that from now on! I will be returning and never getting these again. It looks like you can't see it in my pic. I wish you could, but it's probably best for you that you cant !
It was convenient, but the cheese sauce tasted REALLY starchy. I like the Chef Boyardee brand better among fully cooked choices. All are measured against the gold standard of Kraft mac and cheese that requires more preparation effort. For pre-cooked, I've switched to the Chef Boyardee for better taste.
It was disgusting. Not only the taste but it even looked horrible. If half of the cheesy goop was removed, it would not be enough. The cost of pasta is way less expensive than cheese or whatever processed goop that was, why did you skimmep on the pasta in it? YUCK!!!!!
i depend on these bowls to help my health. i can eat mac b cheese. bought 4bowls 1st2 were nolded and mildew. i do have pics
Hormel makes some great quick meals BUT the macaroni and cheese is not one of them. I think the mac and cheese texture is mushy, the color is brownish, the cheese has an odd flavor, and I threw it away after a few bites. I would NOT recommend the macaroni and cheese but the other products Hormel makes are very good just the mac and cheese is not.
firstly, brown shouldn't be the colour of macaroni and cheese. this is TERRIBLE. if you've never had the Chef Boyardee Mac and Cheese, this will be a great dupe. tastes wrong. made my stomach hurt within 2 bites. tried to cover the flavour with black pepper and a little salt and feel that i wasted those ingredients as i threw it away after one last trial bite. i love macaroni and cheese and dont feel that the mark was hit on either of those factors... if you're picking a Compleats, get the Spaghetti. Otherwise, enjoy your sometimes over- sometimes under-salted cat food.
