Great taste; great product for heart patients. I had a quad-bypass and need to watch my salt. Other products have way too much sodium. This one fills the bill and still tastes like chicken. My wife and I use it in many recipes and I take it to work for lunch. Unfortunately, Publix has stopped carrying it and Kroger never has carried it. Hormel, please get them to carry it again. I will continue looking at other stores; it is worth it.

As I'm getting older, I try to eat foods with less salt in it. I haven't tried this type of chicken breast before and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it tastes. A single serving of unsalted meat of any kind is usually 3% sodium with few exceptions. This canned chicken was advertised with a picture of the label showing it has 3% sodium. It is also advertised as a 6 pack. I received a box of 6 individual cans of chicken claiming to be no salt, however, the label actually says 10%. This means salt was added. This is a lot of sodium for a person who has to be on a really low sodium diet for health reasons. It is also alot of sodium for a product claiming to have no sodium. In fact in has three times the sodium that it claims making it difficult to know how to use it. When I get tuna this size I usually put a third to a half on crackers. All of those ingredients are very low sodium. While I can assume than less than a can in stir fry will be ok it will not be a full portion of meat. I assume the taste is ok and the quality is ok but for those of us with salt problems this kind of false advertising is messed up. I had to read the label with my glasses doubled up. What if I didn't. My b.p. would have gone up and with it my stroke risk. This is the third item from walmart with sodium deception. I reviewed it because it is triple what is advertised.
