brandan94587 October 13, 2020

I like this bed bug killer it comes in a easy to use packaging. I can easily spray this without touching bed and box spring surfaces. It doesn't stain and don't have any unpleasant odor. It kills bed bug eggs and fleas. It is safe and can be use at home and kills by contact very fast. It works great i am satisfied.

Love this product

Babygrl13 October 11, 2020

I actually got this to kill fleas. My dog managed to bring them in the house an I had a couple flying around an didnt want more to accumulate. I will say this is fantastic at killing them little things. I sprayed the carpets and my drains and the next day they where gone. I will say the smell is strong so I recommend opening a window so you don't breathe in the fumes

Works well!

Michaelusmc October 20, 2020

I don't have bed bugs but this also kills fleas and it works great for that purpose. My mom is highly allergic to flea bites and with multiple pets in the household there is an occasional outbreak. This works fast and is fairly long lasting so you don't have to keep continually treating the area.

Bed Bugs Gone!

CabCallahan October 21, 2020

I was hit with an unpleasant case of bed bugs in my bed so I picked up a bottle of Hot Shot Bed Bug Killer. This spray did the job! The nice thing about this spray is that it doesn't smell bad nor does it stain the areas you treat. You don't even know the area was treated. It is a two week process where I sprayed the bed frame and box spring. After a couple of weeks the bugs were gone. Hot Shot advertises this spray as one of a three-part Treatment - Prevention - Detection program. The company recommends their Bed Bug Interceptor and their Bed Bug Glue Trap in addition to the Bed Bug Killer. Hot shot also says this spray works to kill fleas as well which is an added bonus. This spray comes highly recommended. If you have bed bugs pick up a bottle of Hot Shot and watch the bugs disappear.

Preventative

Kiamill October 26, 2020

Thankfully I do not have an active case of bed bugs so my review is based upon the the preventative strength of the product. This product also works to kill fleas so if your pet has them this should prevent an infestation in areas of your home. I've sprayed the common areas for bed bugs and despite exposure thankfully our home has not developed any active cases.

Long lasting

Red42 October 13, 2020

I received the Hot Shot Bed Bug Killer Aerosol 17.5 oz as a product review. This works great for fleas that the pets bring in with them. Plus the formula is long lasting so you don't need to reapply often and the aerosol spray make for easy application

Works okay

Faithful316 December 4, 2020

When I used it it does kill them but doesn't keep them away it's like you have to use this product for months just to keep them away and using a professional is expensive but that may be the best way I don't know if I would recommend this product even though it kills them but some people wouldn't want to use stuff you have to use for months

Works well

Tristykayy October 17, 2020

So I like that this is an aerosol spray it is so much easier to use than pump sprays. The only issue is that I feel like it doesn't penetrate the bed and bugs as well as the pump bottles. It does work and does kill bugs and I would absolutely recommend for people who can't use the pump bottles or don't like the pump bottles.

This has always been our go-to product we use as a flea treatment for pet bedding. I have been really disappointed on the past couple of purchases primarily because it seems to be no longer as effective, the price has went up (which I don't mind paying more for an effective product) and we find that we can't tolerate the overwhelming scent any longer. We will be considering other brands in the future.

A Hot Waste of Money

Brandy May 19, 2021

Here I am 330am writing a product review.... I bet you know why! Im not sure what kind of bed bugs people have that are reporting 5 stars and no scent for THIS product. Let me tell you... there certainly IS a scent and it's strong, ya'll. One spray along the mattress and I need to open ALL the windows and it still burns the throat! Not only that... but this doesn't work! The can says "Kills on Contact"... I think we have a difference of opinion about what "kills on contact" means.... I mean a serious difference of opinion... To say, that I can spray a bug... and watch it meander for 10m until it disappears, or I get distracted... it goes riding completely away into the sunset while waiting for it to 'kill on contact'. (eye roll...) So, I removed and washed all my bedding. The mattress has a plastic covering, the bed frame is metal. I removed everything and gave everything a generous spray down all over.... including the floor, couple cracks in wall, baseboards... Done this twice now... However, the bedbug battle saga continues nightly without relent. I hesitated to buy a more expensive treatment, assuming this one was just as good as the rest... no, honey- this ain't it. I'm going back to the drawing board after this last failed attempt. Sorry, Hot Shot... Not today.
