I bought it after continuously spraying the basement and garage for all kinds of different bugs. These strips were set up in a standing position. Oh we found the bugs laying around, BUT THEY WERE DEAD AND NEVER MADE INTO THE HOUSE. That's what was important to us. We just had to scoop them up. After a month of having them, the bugs just got less and less. I don't know if it has the effect of keeping them away as well; but we didn't see as many. Garage was was such a relief. Crickets, "crunchers" flies, you name it. DEAD!! I WON'T USE ANYTHING ELSE. For our two car garage, we had one setting right in front of the garage door and the other close to the door entrance into the house from the garage. Worked perfect.

This is the only thing that works here in South Florida to kill those tiny gnats that get in through the screens on the patio. It lasts 3 months with the A/C on - 4 months in the "winter" or no A/C season. I use 2 for our 2 bedroom apartment. 1 is placed in the living room the other in the hall outside our bedrooms. I hang mine high so visiting little ones can't get near them, the hooks for hanging are included or you can stand it on top of a bookcase like my neighbor does.

Hot Shot No Pest Strip is the best indoor product to get rid of pesky bugs. When flying bugs are bothering you, this will make them disappear. I had gnats driving me crazy, the other products I tried did nothing but as soon as I opened the Hot Shot No Pest Strip, gone.

These are a necessity in rural areas when the wasps start building. I put one in the well shed, one in the tool shed, one under the sink in the patio cabinets, etc. They keep the spiders out of the mailbox too.

I have been using these for years and am glad that Walmart finally carries them and at a reasonable price too. I hang one of these up every year in between my kitchen and living room and it keeps the flying insect away. We have a big problem with flys here and it works good. I am going to try one on my patio this year because the flys and nats are terrible out there hopefully it will work as good.

I only use these in non sleeping or non eating areas, but they work great in the closed garage, shed, or enclosed patio.
