Hot Tools Pro Signature 1875W Travel Size Ionic Hair Dryer, Black

I just received this, and only tried it out a few times, but I do like it. It is basically pretty much like any other hair dryer I've had, but it's a bit lighter, has a handle that fold up so that it's smaller and easy to pack into a smaller space. The attachments work well--the diffuser is my favorite as it helps with curly hair, sort of spreading out the area where the air hits, and the concentrator focuses the airflow down to a narrower area. The air-intake has a cover that you can remove to clean and keep out anything that might interfere with the air being pulled in. It has a two-setting switch, for high & low, that controls both speed and heat settings, and a loop to hang it up. There's a cold burst button as well, which I haven't used, but it's to set the curls the when you're finished. It's really easy to use, I haven't found anything I dislike about it, it works great, and I don't honestly know if being 'ionic' makes a difference or not, but as I said, it works well, and that's what counts. Looks nice, too!

I don't have a lot of storage space in my bathroom or even my bedroom and this hairdryer is perfect!! With the size it is it puts out a surprisingly strong blow. It doesn't get too hot either, the last one I had got way too hot on my scalp and I would constantly have to use the cooling function but this one is perfect!! It dries my thick curly hair super quick which is great because I absolutely hate having wet hair. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!!

I haven't used a blow-dryer for years so I was pretty excited about testing out the Hot Tools Signature Series Ionic DC Travel Hair Dryer. I'm pleased to say that it works great and it's nice having a quick alternative available to me. This dryer is small and compact. It's black and is coated with a non-slip, almost silicone feeling material. It's good for keeping your grip when your hands have product on them or are wet. The handle folds up against the dryer body so it fits nicely in a suitcase or bag. Just push against the handle and it will open back up. It came with both a diffuser and concentrator attachment. I have coarse, curly hair so I primarily use the diffuser. I love the way it dries my hair while keeping the natural curls intact. It works great to keep my hair frizz-free. The concentrator makes the air stream very powerful. I think it would work good for blowouts. The dryer has two settings: low and high. There is no temperature setting, though there is a button that when depressed, turns off the heat so it's just blowing air. I prefer using it with the heat and don't feel as though it has burned or dried out my hair. You can change the voltage using a little dial on the back of the handle for when you are travelling. My overall impression is that this dryer works just as well as any full-size dryer I've ever used. The diffuser gives me amazing results and I'm really impressed at how well-made this item is. It's definitely a two-thumbs up product!

I have short hair and I am a senior, so heavy and fancy hair equipment is neither needed nor appreciated. In the past, I had travel hair dryers that were really small and not so good, this one however is different. It is not as heavy as my regular one but not as flimsy as my travel drier (both of which I am now going to retire). It has two settings and a cool flow button (which lowers the flow rate as well, not just the temp) and comes with two attachments, one for fluffing up hair and one for concentrating the flow. It feels nice to hold and as an added bonus, you can unscrew the rear air intake to clean lint (I used to use my vacuum cleaner to do that on my old dryer). And it has a voltage switch as well and an eyelet to hang it on a hook, although that is pretty small and I am not sure which hook would fit and still hold the dryer.

I wanted a small dryer because I find the bigger ones are Too bulky for me to handle. This is perfect. Comes with two Attachments. One is a diffuser which worked perfect on My curly hair. It also has a cold button for a shot of cold Air at the end of styling. Has two heat settings. Hi and low. It folds up and I can store It right on my bookshelf. Perfect. Perfect perfect little dryer.

Hair dryer works great. Seems very powerful to me. Has a concentrater and a diffuser. Though since my hair is short and thin, I don't need either. I tried the diffuser, I don't like the "fingers", kind of hurt my scalp. Two speeds and a cold shot, sufficient for me. The end by the suction (meaning the end that doesn't blow air out) pulls open. Guessing for cleaning? I like the portable part, when you fold the handle, it takes much less space. Will work great in our small RV. Looks nice, too.

I received from the spark reviewer program this Hot Tools Signature series Ionic DC Travel hair dryer, model HTDR5582N1 in black. I really like this hair dryer. Its small enough for me to handle and it folds so its good for traveling. It does a very good job of drying my hair which is on the thick side. It has 2 extra attachments, one concentrator and one diffuser to enhance blowouts and help define waves. It has 2 heat or speed options to help with different styles or just drying. It has a cold shot button that helps set your style so it holds longer with out making your hair fuzzy. What I really like it is not too hot like other ones I have used. Because of my arthritis it is light enough to use with comfort So I will be using it at home as much as when traveling. I highly recommend this to anyone who travels because it and all parts fit in a small bag that I had and I just leave it in that bag so its always ready to go

I do wish it was even smaller, but its fine as is. I really wish it had different heat settings. It's just high heat or low heat, and they're very hot. But it does have a lot of power, can quickly dry your hair. The cord is plenty long. I'm a pet sitter, so sometimes I need to stay in people's homes to watch their pets while they're vacationing, so having a travel size hair dryer is very, very convenient!

This hair dryer is not to bad. It states that it is a travel hair dryer. That is because you can fold the handle up against the body part of the hair dryer. Even so, I think it is still a large size for a travel hair dryer. To fold up the hair dryer, all you do is bend the handle towards the body. It does not have a lock or unlock to do this. It does make a clicking noise when you move the handle. I did notice that it does not have a way to adjust the temperature of the air coming out of the hair dryer. It is pretty hot when it comes out. It does have a high and low setting. It is to adjust the air flow of the hair dryer. There is a cold button to do a cold shot on your hair. You do have to hold the button down the whole time that you are doing a cold shot. I did find this a little difficult to do at first. But it was easier as I did it more. But I was not a fan of having to hold the button. I did not think that the cold button was in a very good place to access it when using the hair dryer. The hair dryer comes with a Finger Diffuser and a Concentrator cap. I tried them and they both work quite well. They snap on to the end of the dryer really nice. It was a little hard to get the Concentrator cap back off. It goes on really well.
