Hot Wheels Monster Trucks 1:24 Scale Mega-Wrex RC Vehicle

This is a great action toy, it lights up makes sounds and it's fast for a remote control. Easy to maneuver and loads of fun. Love this monster truck bought it for my grandson.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My monster truck loving buddy was so excited to see this Dino Monster truck. He couldn’t wait for me to get it open and put the batteries in. He’s driven it all day today. The remote is easy to use and the car responds quickly to it. The car is fast and the remote is easy for a toddler/young child to operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is so durable with crashing against furniture. My son played with it non stopped for days. It’s a great product for a rambunctious 5 year old who loves trucks and racing them around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mega Wrex 1:24 RC car was great. My child enjoyed racing it around the kitchen and living room. New terrain action tires worked well on carpeted areas. It is a good size and brightly colored. Couldn't be more happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kid loves the hot wheel RC. The toy is very fast indoors and outdoors. It went the same speed outside on the cement floor as the wooden floor inside and on a rug. Compared to my other Rc truck I like this one because it’s remote control is smaller and so my kid can hold it better in their hands and easily control the truck. The truck itself is also slimmer than my other RC so it’s easier to put away and store. I also noticed the truck and the remote control needs triple AAA batteries instead of double AA batteries compared to other trucks I have which I like because I usually always have triple AAA batteries more handy than double AA. The only disadvantage I had with the toy is the remote control joysticks are a bit hard to move back and forth but once you get use it becomes a lot easier to move them. In my experience all joystick remote controls are hard to move. Overall me and my kids very enjoy playing with the truck. Because it’s fast, lightweight and easy to play with. I also like that the truck was resistible because my kids crashed it a lot and nothing would happen and it didn’t break as easily as other toys we’ve had before. I really like that the wheels have traction control on them.

Surprisingly it was quiet sturdy , no breakage even after bumping into walls and screen door. Even worked well on carpet, no hiccups or stopping. Only thing battery runs out fast but overall would buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We absolutely loved this and had a blast making it spin in circles and do wheelies. We built ramps for it to jump and was driving it over smaller hot wheels vehicles. The color and detail is perfect. I wish the controller had a on/off button but thats my only complaint. This is a very entertaining toy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Rc car Top heavy Turn right when not using the control Mattel’s Hot Wheels Monster Truck Mega Wrex RC was played with by two 5 year olds. With that age, major excitement straight out of the box. It was easy for them to learn. It was enjoyed indoors and outdoors. My son was lucky to have Mega Wrex go from upright to a wheelie position. However, in the instruction manual the Monster Truck has to be placed on its back wheels to do wheelie stunts. A draw back is the tires don’t have much “terrain action” as the Monster Truck wouldn’t drive in the grass. It is also important to note that there is a wheel alignment adjuster underneath that needs to be tinkered with to keep it moving straight when not using the steering joystick. The Monster Truck is top heavy, which causes it to flip a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was very easy to get the truck and remote out of and there is a place on the bottom of the truck for you to keep the remote so that it doesn’t get lost. The controls are very easy to use and it is easy to steer. It kept my whole family entertained from my 4 year old to my husband. The only thing I didn’t like was the batteries died relatively quickly.

Bought this twice for my grandson and neither one worked, from the very start! Wasn't able to return one (not sure where it was from) but did return this one closer to where they live. 30 dollars for a small remote control car that does not work.
