This small wastebasket is a nice color, which is why I purchased it. However, it's flimsy and not worth 30. Lightning fast shipping!
I really like the look of the waste basket but came frayed in about 3 places. They offered a free replacement. I will ship it back and try it again. Glue on some of the ends would help, but I dont know how long this will last?
I ended up returning this wastebasket because it did not look nearly as good in person as in the online photo. I guess due to natural variations in banana leaves, the color was much darker than it appeared online. The wastebasket also had a strong, unpleasant smell which may have been the varnish - not sure if it would dissipate over time. Lastly, the basket looked like it was made by a beginner. I assume these are handmade, and this one had leaves poking out all over, not a smooth finish. Bottom Line - beware that this item may not match your expectations as compared to the online photo.
