this is the best 200.00 you can spend for a scooter! it has lived up to the hype! not only does the variable speed modes worth exactly as stated... but the LED lights are a wonderful feature! it goes 15MPH and when with the wind, one of my sons got the speed too 16. he is 5'10, 225 lb and loved riding it! all of the kids did. it's fast, stops great. strong, durable and would HIGHLY recommend this e scooter to everybody! enjoy. FYI, the other review seemed to be referencing another type of scooter. additionally, I purchased mine in the store. not only did I have the pleasure of picking it out, opening it up in the styrofoam and filling out the warranty information... but the people at the Walmart were so pleasant and helpful. thanks Walmart!

I am 5’11’ and weigh 240 lbs. The scooter goes up to the 15 max no problem. This was a blast. Especially for the $200 price. The scooter is much bigger than what I thought it would be. I also got the $300 gotrax glx/rival because i thought the inflatable tires would be better curbs but it made little difference for the extra $100.

Bought this item for my daughter as a Christmas gift. We were so pleased at first and it brought so much joy to her for the first few times she was able to use it. Since we live in Ohio, there were not a lot of days between Christmas and early March and therefore, very few hours of runtime for this scooter. Despite being practically brand new, barely broken in, the scooter completely locked up one day while riding. This was around March 23rd. The motor is ceased up and the scooter cannot be used at all, even as a manual push scooter. I reached out to the company on March 29th to request help/service. I was asked to supply them with sales receipt and other information about a week later. Once I supplied the required information, they got back with me about a week later telling me that the scooter was out of warranty and that they would not stand behind it. I have asked them to stand behind their product and informed them that if they didn't, I would escalate to the better business bureau.

This is my second time buying a hover 1 scooter and it has been very bad everytime. First was the electronic brake was stuck on now its a defective motherboard that needs to be replace that FACTORY WARANTY DOES NOT COVER AND COST $40 FOR IT. I do not recommend this brand to anyone at all they dont stand behind their products. (I also just got this scooter too and ill be returning it in less then three days of use)

This is the 2nd scooter we have gotten from Walmart and it doesn't work

Did not work at all. Hover 1 customer service did not even offer a solution. They just said return it.

The scooter wouldnt even turn on. charged till green and still no power. returned to local walmart and still have to wait 2 weeks for my refund. I have a very disappointed 10 year old that has been waiting since christmas for his scooter

Very disappointing. We wanted to like this scooter--and we did for a couple of months. But once we started actually using it, the battery started draining very quickly and the motor lost its power. We contacted Hover for support, but they waited until after the 90 day warranty was up to get back to us and basically tell us that there was nothing to be done. If you're smart, just go ahead and buy a more expensive scooter (with a higher watt motor) and get the 3-year warranty package. But whatever you do, don't buy this one.
