There was a lower price option available to me, but it was not from a reputable seller. I chose to spend the extra 5% to ensure a smooth purchasing experience and remove the risk of poor customer support should something be off with the product.

Go for the X
I like the volume of toner in the cartridge, it allows me to replace them less. I have never had an issue with an HP cartridge and they last as long if not longer than advertized.
