The monitor arrived sooner than expected. Comes with a disc for set up, but is not needed. After connecting (VGA) to computer and plugged in, the monitor worked with no adjustments needed. Color is good and sharpness is good. There are adjustment controls on the bottom if needed.
I am very pleased with this monitor. The only problem is that every time I turn it on or off a message appears on the screen saying input signal not found. Check the video cable. Yet it still is working o.k. so I don't know what the problem might be . It is on a VGA cable.
For $69.99 you can't beat the HP 20kd 19.( inch monitor. It's plug and play with a VGA and DVI hookup. I personally have an older HP desktop computer with a VGA plug in. The monitor is just the right size if you're not into big, giant monitors and just want something for a small office desk. It gives a clear picture and is tilts Ke. What more could you ask for at this price point. And it's HP. I went ahead and got a two year full warranty under the Walmart Protection Plan for $7.00 making a grand investment of $83.00 with tax included. I am happy and I think you will be too with this monitor.
I was very happy to purchase TWO of these monitors as my job has me working from home to at least March 31, 2021. I have the monitors set up on a single monitor stand and in conjunction with my laptop, i am utilizing three screens for work. Other sites had these same monitors between $70-$90 and when i saw the price for these, it was a no brainer! The resolution is good and are perfect for my needs of them!
I like the widescreen, But I don't like the height of the monitor. I wished I would have gotten a 21-inch screen instead of a 19.5- inch screen, It's too short in height.
Though it comes with a CD for driver installation, laptops dont have that anymore. I downloaded from website. I attempted to call HP support aside it being a hassle they never answer. Once I got all configured, it worked great this far. Only been a few days though.
The only thing that keeps this at a 4 star is that the power cord has a problem staying hooked up. if I move the monitor the cord comes loose. then I have to work with it until it stays in place. But I think it is just this item only and others maybe ok.
The monitor is brand new but it didn't work! So disappointed, I've always trusted HP products. I've tried everything, changed hookups three times...hooked it to 3 different computer. ..it only says can't find signal. I never got my other computer to check it until after my 30days return had ran out, so stuck with it...not happy at all
Not the best IPS displays available in the market. Not clear at all compared to other IPS panels. There is a lot of loose connection in the power inlet of the monitor. I need to frequently keep adjusting the monitor in a certain way to keep it turned on.
This Monitor is horrible, I have an old Dell Square box monitor that has way better definition and coloration than this modern type of monitor. The picture looks slightly smeared, the power cable is loose and the monitor keeps going off unless you rig it so it will stay on smh Lol, I saw the other reviews and decided to take the chance, I will be returning it!!!
