Logitech C270 HD Webcam with Noise-Reducing Mics for Video Calls

This inexpensive camera works perfectly for what I need. My Laptop has a built-in camera, but I am using a 32" monitor, and don't look at the laptop screen, resulting in a lack of eye contact with the person/persons I am speaking with. Having this on top of my monitor means I am facing the camera. The microphone also works very well.

I bought these for my team for Christmas. I bought one for myself several years ago and sm very happy with the purchase. I am very low tech but had no issues with setting this up.

I installed this webcam on a pc using Windows 10 Home 64 bit operating system. There were no drivers to install; since Windows 10 automatically installed them. I did have to go to settings and turn on camera and microphone options. I am impressed with this cam! You can take a still shot in 720p HD, or make a 720p HD video if you so wish. I did discover it takes a good quality picture in dim or bright environments. The built in microphone works well too. The clamp/mount design is padded, so as to avoid scratching your monitor. I went directly to Logitech's website and read their instructions before using it. Sometimes there will be tips/tricks on manufacturer(s) site not listed in the included manual. I have one complaint: the USB cable is a little short; however I had a 6' USB extension lying around my house. Also, this cam will work on Ubuntu 14.04 x64 LTS (Linux). It is a great webcam at a decent price. I purchased it from my local Walmart and have no regrets!!

Logitech has always produced excellent products that I use in my home and business and this little webcam is no exception. Very easy to open, install and run. 4 simple steps, very intuitive. Software and drivers load off the product itself. On line help is easily available, but I doubt you will need it. It is an HD camera which gives the images much more clarity and “pop”. Installs on the top of our monitors with a universal clip that works fine. One small drawback is you may find the usb cord a little short and that may limit where you install the body of the camera. There obviously is no fix for this very small issue other than buying connectors and additional cable. Very efficient and sensitive microphone installed in the unit and it also works as described. Our price was less than $20 making this a real bargain. Highly recommended!

Having never ownied a webcam before, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to set it up properly or even use it. It was so easy to set up and turn on. Just plug into a USB on the computer and off you go. I highly recommend this Logitech HD Webcam to all who are in the market for one.

My son paid over $100.00 for his camera so I was very skeptical paying under $30.00 for a camera with a built-in microphone. Being electronically challenged, I read most of the reviews for this product and several others but decided on this Logitech HD Webcam. It works just as good as my son's. Just plug it in the USB port, sign up with a server (Skype for me) and off you go. I do not understand any of the complicated technology jargon; all I can tell you is that it works GREAT!

This was my first time ordering from Wal-Mart online & I was pleasantly surprised how well it went. I requested the cheapest/slowest way to ship, & it still got to my house in 2 days! I am satisfied with this webcam model. I use it mainly for live broadcasts for chat & video calls/Skype. The printed instructions were too brief & incomplete, so I had to call the Logitech customer service line. They were very helpful & got me going on the right track. In the future, I will stay with Logitech products b/c of their excellent customer service/support. The camera quality for this model is very good & my friends on the other end say it looks good for them also. Just make sure ur computer specs meet the requirements for this camera.

This basic web cam was easy to set up and has functioned well. No problems so far. Does best in bright room light, fair in dim light. Sound is OK for voice, don't know about music. Clips on flat screen monitor so viewer gets a head-on view of your face as you view your screen. Good for basic Skype sessions.

I purchased this camera for my wife, as a surprise gift. I liked the features, especially the built in microphone and the camera that can follow your movements automatically. The instructions for loading the driver software was confusing and it would not fully load. I was getting an error message that it could not connect with some server. However the camera started working and my wife was able to Facebook with our new great granddaughter. A few days later the microphone stopped working and all of our efforts have not been able to restore it. I am returning it in hopes that a different one will resolve the issue with the microphone.
