Great nice picture quality for such a small projector. If you go very close to the surface being projected onto, you can see that it is not very high definition, however sitting a few feet away, the picture quality looks amazing. It has two 3W speakers and you can adjust the sound. Roku Express Steaming is a plus to play any movie of your choice. Overall, I am enjoying it for my purposes.
I seriously wasn't expecting a lot from this projector…I was thinking very pessimistic until I put it together and got it up and running! My expectations were beyond exceeded! This is better than a tv by far and the quality is amazing. The sound could be better but I'm not disappointed and knew the volume wouldn't be like a normal tv. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase and already creating new spaces in our home for another one!
i got my order two days after i placed it and i'm very content! this projector was easy to set up and i'm thankful that the roku and projector screen/sheet came with. the sheet comes with adhesive hooks for you to hang it up. you can adjust the brightness and size of the screen being projected, which is great. i highly suggest using this in a dark room for better quality. thank you walmart! (photo attached is me using it during the daytime)
I have be wanting to purchase a projector for a while now..DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Im more mad i didnt do it sooner. It came with a screen. I dont even use it. The area DOESN'T have to be pitch black either the quality it awesome. 10/10 in my opinion
I love this item The built-in speakers are loud Setting up the devices, very easy it literally auto focuses I expect years of service from this projector
This is the first projector I have ever used and I have always wanted to try one. After using it the first time, my first impression of it is that it works pretty well. It was really easy to hook up the Roku to the projector and set it all up as it sets up just like any other Roku device. As for the projector, the settings in it are fairly easy to understand and I like that you can adjust the screen to fit whatever background you are projecting onto. It does come with an 84" screen that you can hang up. The sticky hooks it comes with however fell off where we stuck them since they are not that sticky at all. While watching it held up, but I would suggest getting something sticker to hang the screen upon. We projected onto a bare wall and the ceiling and both worked fine. I do wish you could lean the projector back as we had to set it up in a weird way to project onto the ceiling. As for the display, the picture is pretty clear and it's just like being in a movie theater in your own home. Of course, it's not as clear as a tv nowadays, but the quality is really good. And for the sound, it was clear but I will add, we did use this in a smaller room so it may vary by the size of the room. Overall, I feel the projector does the job although it may take some extra time to get it set up so it's straight and not crooked. My only real complaint is with the hooks that came with it and not so much the actual projector.
Not too big , not too small . It's loud enough if you're alone or the room is silent , so you might want to buy your own speakers . Sometimes the Roku detects issues and I have to unplug it then plug it back . The remote for the projector does not come with batteries but the Roku remote does . It had a glitch once and the remote was out of my control so I had to unplug it . Other than that , everything's good ENOUGH !
This project is average. There are several significant design flaws that bring down the rating significantly. First off the legs are not adjustable. This means that the surface you put the projector on must be level or your screen will be crooked on the wall. Second there is no focus slider on the device itself. This means you must have the easy to loose remote or you will not be able to focus the device. Third off there is no zoom on it at all. The projection size is strictly dependent on distance from the wall so if have to have a lot of space in order to position it correctly. The Rokus Express requires a 2.4 GHz connection which is slowly becoming outdated with many of the newer wifi routers. The projection screen is pretty easy to hang if you get the measurements right but I personally like the roll down ones a lot more then the hand on the wall ones.
Pros: -Works -Display size is decent -Fan noise not too loud -Comes with a roku Cons: -Low brightness (200 Lumens is low) which means pretty much useless unless pitch black dark -Picture settings are basic, and when you change them you have to switch back to the hdmi source to see changes so its difficulty to gauge what the settings are doing. -Picture is bad to passable. -Audio is decent, very harsh at times but it can get loud. -Has to stay on a high table/ desk or be propped up on a box which blocks view if you sit behind it. -Included screen is pointless as it is see through and there are no instructions on how to hang up...just some strange flimsy hooks. Overall, get this for your school presentation, not your home theater.
I am appalled that this is getting such positive reviews. My first thought when I opened the packaging was – seriously? This is it? This product isn’t worth more than $50 at best. The screen is very cheaply made and comes with six ugly hooks. I didn’t even bother trying to use the hooks because 1) I didn’t want to put ugly hooks permanently on my wall, 2) they do not look like they would even stick well, and 3) I want to be able to use this projector outside and the hooks will definitely not work for that. I bought a stand that will hold the screen up, but it’s not working well so I’m just going to return the stand and abandon the screen that came with the bundle and buy a different screen that actually comes with its own stand. In addition, you can only use this projector at night. Maybe this is how all projectors are, but I was disappointed that I could barely see the screen in the day even when I closed all the blinds in my house. Lastly, the sound quality is pretty terrible, and you can’t turn the volume up very loudly. I wouldn’t waste your money on this if I were you.
