After following the easy to set up instructions, i found this laptop extremely fast and user friendly The keyboard board is awesome as i am retired and my hands are not as steady as they used to be so I found the larger sized keys excellent for my shaky hands, no more fat fingering the keys. 🙂
I like how easily it is to set up and work woth
Runs great perfect when I am not on my pc…able to work on projects effectively. Highly recommend this laptop
It's been a week almost I have had my laptop, it's nice clean fast I'm excited and I got my laptop a week before the original date it was supposed to be shipped. Walmart is SUPER fast
The laptop is just what I wanted. The style is the right size and love the color I picked. It would have been a little nicer if more colors were available. The price was good also and the payment plans too. Thank you for your service.
positive: lightweight, CPU fast, RAM 8GB & 128 GB NVM right size for linux, promotion price very good, battery lasts long (decreasing screen brightness). negative: screen too bright in setup (cannot decrease brightness), fan is noisy when it is turned on, up/down arrows on keyboard are uncomfortable (more important than other keys). wifi disconnects in linux (realtek may be the culprit), lots of bloatware (I had to re-partition & erase Windows completely). The HDMI connection does not work with some projectors, Cannot get my Windows license # (please email it).
I'm returning to school and needed a reliable easy to use laptop so I purchased this wonderful machine. It's been very easy to use and understand it's fast I like the keyboard and I would recommend it to other people looking for a reliable inexpensive laptop
When I initially started the laptop up the first day I was a bit disappointed because it was moving slowly, and I even considered returning it on day 1. After a few updates, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase. For $200, this is a very good value. I use this laptop for normal daily activities like email, web browsing, and even watch YouTube videos occasionally. There can be a very slight delay sometimes when opening multiple tabs of videos, but nothing that is discouraging. I download and watch videos also, and have had no issues with videos that are 720p, I haven't tried 1080p vidoes yet, so can't comment on that. I've owned multiple HP laptops at different price levels, and this is consistent with my experience with their products. This laptop doesn't get hot like most do, but I fully expect this laptop to need to be replaced within anout 2-3 years. HP laptops just don't last very long, their performance begins to slow down after 2 years, especially because I use them daily. I received the laptop exactly when expected, and it was packaged properly with no damage. If I needed another budget laptop, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.
The laptop was very inexpensive but had start up issues from day one along with minor crashing issues. About 2 months in it wouldn't start up at all. Restarting wouldn't work anymore, not even a take the back off and disconnect the battery hard restart. Very clever hiding some of the screws under the rubber bumper I might add, what's to hold that back on after replacing? But, anyway, next stop was support and over two hours in that there's still no fix in sight. The techs have me lined up with at least another half hour of suggested CMOS and BIOS recovery efforts to try. Try each one three times they say. I'm very skeptical any of this will work at this point, maybe I should try a sage smudge? I offered to pay to ship it to a repair center but apparently that's not the HP way.. The reps are friendly and presumably competent but since the laptop is still under warranty I feel like I'm having to do HP's work for them. Free advice with no end in sight for the need of it seems like a poor excuse for a warranty for a product used less than 60 days. I'm very disappointed and will be very leery of sending anymore money HP's way in the future. Wish me luck trying to fix this thing but their's a limit before I completely give up, and write off the loss as a bad investment, perhaps that's the business model?
this was a waste of money. it stopped working 2 days after i got it. it never really worked the 2 days i tried to use it. peice of trash not worth nothing , waste of time and money
