This came faster than advertised. When I ordered it, it was $38 which was completely reasonable. Tub was sealed. Wasn't full so I thought maybe I got shorted so I weighed it. It was actually 5.1 lbs. added last night per instructions.. tested this morning and my chlorine levels are right on. I have a small 2500 gallon pool so this should last me most of the summer since it's about 2 tbl spoons a day.
Great weekly product for the pool is kept the algae out
Works great. Just sprinkle some in my hot tub and turn on bubbles to circulate well.
Helps the chlorine last longer in tx heat
Great Product! kept my pool clean! wish Walmart would've kept it in stock and keep it year-round!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in CA with lots of sunlight and winds my pool can be a real pain in the neck to keep clean. These granules are super easy to use, they kill the bacteria and algae spores leaving the water crystal clear, the water also feels softer and fresher. Best to give the pool a quick brush down before adding the granules for the best results. I also use the HTH test strips, the ones where you can test, text and the app. tells you the results of the test and what's needed to be done to balance the chemicals in the pool....... big help.
As for chlorinating my hot tub, it seems to work ok. The problem I have with this product is that it has some kind of blue dye in it. It turns the surfaces in my white hot tub walls blue and the filters are completely blue after just a few days. I don't know what the purpose of the blue dye is. Maybe it's supposed to make the product prettier. I won't be buying it again.
After it being delayed way passes it's delivery date I received a bottle that was just above half full. I will NOT be buying from this retailer again. I would have taken it back if it hadn't been for a chlorine shortage in my area.
This just sat on the bottom of the pool. We ended up vacuuming it out. Waste of money!
Over priced and not as described.
