we have well water and when we filled out pool it turned a rusty orange and our sand filter was struggling to take it out itself. this worked great, I put it in, turned off the filter and the next day it was all clumped and settled to the bottom so I could vacuum to waste and our pool was sparkling in no time.
I have used this before to help keep the pool clean. It started to rain (a lot) after I used this so I think it diluted it too much and I will use it again in a couple of days.
I had very, very fine dust from cutting pavers in the pool that made it very cloudy. The filter or pool robot would not remove it from suspension. Drop Out did the trick in 2 days.
I love this stuff it works overnight I have a 24 round above ground pool I use 8 oz of it and all I do is brush after I put it in the pool and I let the pump run for 2 hours and then I turn the pump off and when I wake up the next morning everything that was in the pool is on the bottom and ready to vacuum out this stuff is awesome and it works better than the high dollar stuff in the pool places sell yes I recommend this
I have used drop out before, it is amazing how fast it works; then you just have to vacuum your pool and it is clean.
This works great! I followed the directions letting the pool circulate for 2 hours after applying it. After 2 hours I shut the pump off and letnit sit. The next morning the water was crystal clear and all of the crud making the water cloudy was sitting on the bottom of the pool. My only complaint, prr say, is that I wish when the crud falls to the bottom of the pool that it would clump tighter together and not redistribute easily into the pool water while vacuuming the bottom of the pool.
Just started using this for this pool season and it drops everything out overnite for easy vacuum out the waste setting on the filter the next morning. I now keep this in stock for any cloudiness flare ups I might have. Cost is suprisingly reasonable.
After shocking my pool 5 times and using a bit of Algicide the water was still light green. I was very frustrated. Went to a pool store with a sample, they told me to double shock again, I did the same results Green!!!!! Looked up other results found this, took a chance, followed directions to a T. AMAZING. Over night the water had greatly improved. In 2 days the water was sparkling and perfect. I only use a robot vac and that worked pretty good on this stuff. I have an 18' above ground
Excellent when u need your Pool to be clear quickly. Adjust ph then double to ensure everything drops out properly Recirculate then let it sit over night next morning everything has sank to the bottom and you vacuume to waste and add more water to your pool. Perfect for stubborn water you can't clear up in time for that special get together You just need to have the ph within range and time overnight to let it settle then vacuume away ur problem
Not a fan. Doesn't work as well as the single box system for same thing. it leaves algae spotty and loose making it hard to vacuum without spreading it all over the pool while doing it
