Works great!!!

Wowowowow August 1, 2025

I can not believe this doesn't have a higher rating. It works AMAZINGLY!! I have to believe that if it doesn't work the way it should, it must be user error. I have used this a few times over the past few years %26 every time it does what it's supposed to. My pool was green %26 cloudy. My chlorine level and Ph level were both spot on, but i couldn't get rid of the green haze, even after adding algaecide w/ a clarifier, so I ordered this. After turning the pump off for about an hour, everything was in the middle of the pool. I vacuumed with the pool set to waste %26 it's already 98% clearer. Just need to vacuum on waste one more time %26 it'll be perfect. I didn't get a before photo, but i did get one of it all settled to the middle. It is so worth it if you can't get rid of the green. Oh, and my chlorine and Ph are still spot on after using this product. It doesn't "eat" the chlorine like algaecide does.

This stuff is all I used to get the initial portion of my pool opened up. It takes all the junk and settles it to the bottom of the pool within 24 hrs. Just make sure, especially if you have a pool with a cartridge filter, to disconnect the hose and let it run into your yard. If not, you basically destroy the filter and it blows everything back in the pool.

It was a terrible winter in Pennsylvania. Not only did my pork cover blow off and end up in Neverland, I also had a tree fall onto my pool this spring after losing the cover. Needless to say my pool was absolutely disgusting. I didn't think I'd be able to get it clean this product was what helped me get this poorly. I did not need to use any other product and my chemistry was perfect when it was done. The only thing that you have to be aware of when you use the product like this is what falls to the bottom is very, very small algae particles that could still run through your filter system. Therefore, it's very important to vacuum the particles that fall to the pool floor, to waste. I don't like doing this because it wastes water, but I had to and I didn't lose too much maybe about an inch but it totally cleaned out the pool and I was so thrilled because I thought I would have such problems it wouldn't be fixed.

HTH pool shock is a product that I discovered at Ace Hardware in Willow Creek about a year an half ago when I was there visiting; we liked how quick the water changed from green to blue! This year he asks me what the name was I don't know I got it at Ace; he checked to see what the local store said didn't find much related to pools! I asked him if he had used the whole box of what I bought; he went out to look found the box! So grateful to the customer service lady who checked if they had any in stock and the service when my Son picked up the order! Thank you!

will work

Anonymous June 2, 2026

absolutely wonderful !it's not made for lazy people though so if you don't like to work than this product is not for you. you have to siphon the floccuent out sometimes 2 days in a row but if you do it on a Thursday you will be swimming in it by Saturday.

It works!

Melissa April 9, 2026

This is the only flocculent that works. I have tried many other brands and products and this is the only one that does the job. It does take longer than 24 hours for everything to settle, but not much more usually by the second day all of the dead algae and debris has fallen to the bottom of the pool, and I can vacuum it away easily.

great for my needs not made for all filters

KK June 24, 2025

after i shocking my pool for the algae to 10ppm for a few days ( my cover always breaks due to winds in my area.) i start my clean up. the green to blue helps out a lot . but NOTE you need a filter to vacuum to waste. if you filter doesn't you can use a dry/wet vacuum ( shop vac) to vacuum and dump. i use this method because it saves on water. the flatulent in this is a brown powder and drops out well but can be a bit daunting to remove as it can stir up easily

This did nothing that it said it was supposed to do for the treatment in my pool. I was very disappointed because of the amount of money that was paid for this particular product. You would expect that it would do what it says there was an ease of use it was supposed to be a box of shock and supposed to treat algae and change your pool from green to blue. I use the entire box and it was a fail.

I would love to give this NEGATIVE FIVE STARS!!! Do not get this if you have an above ground pool and no vacuum!!!! All it did was make the algae thick so the chlorine couldn’t eat it!!! This was a huge waste of money!!! I would have came out better just getting chlorine or a shock. Chlorine would have just ate the algae and the pool would have turned back blue and maybe a little cloudy but could have gotten a stabilizer or clearer to turn it back clear. But this you have to put this in and wait 24 hours just to spend even more time trying to vacuum it out. I wish I could get my money back!!!

This stuff is the worst . Let me if you a run down . I followed instructions step by step . The first step was easy . The phrase two the brown stuff I like to say MY whole pool turned Brown the sides the bottom . Sad to say I had to empty the whole pool and start over scrubbing the walls the vaccine etc . It never dissolved. And I brought two boxes of this . NEVER again . Like to say water bill going to be high as well . Anyways thanks for a waste of time waste of money of two boxes of your product, and cost of water which I haven't gotten yet . Would NOT recommend this product .
