needed help when i got behind on my pool and it was as green as the grass because my chlorine generator failed while we were away. Little shock and a couple of doses of this and presto - back to beautiful Azure in a couple of days and with only one light brushing. Now using a tiny bit of it for preventative purposes. Highly recommend!

Worked on removing yellow algae I have been fighting all summer. Water is crystal clear, no cloudiness. Shock your pool, run filter for about 12 hours, brush and add this. It does foam a little which lasts a week but I don't mind as the water is so clean!

Much better product then the Clorox brand I normally use . I had a major green issue in my above ground pool after major heat then rain I used more than required within the day it was clearing up and followed with HTH shock and a HTH chlorine tab I have had no issues it's crystal clear for over a week with 3 days of rain!

best product ever. I've had yellow algea problem for 10 years and have spent $100's on Pool rx, Yellow Out, Algatec and Yellow Treat, yellow treat had some effect but it took 4 bottles. I was so use to these products having such little effect that I tried the recommended amount and had to back wash a few times in 2 days because it worked so good and has a diamond effect. don't waste your money on anything else.

I recently had an algae bloom after leaving the cover on the pool for 4 days when it got very hot outdoors. I think it was mustard algae as my typical chlorine shocking was not very effective. I applied this algicide and within 24 hours the pool was useable. After 48 hours and the water was crystal clear. This is a great tool to keep in the pool treatment bag of tricks.

Pretty good preventative,….killer not so much. I'll be going back to a poly-quat I started out with calcium hypochlorite shock and plenty of it to kill off a bloom, which is what I had this year. Then I used this to kill off any survivors and maintain. It went from green to blue in 3 days.

the product did not have the number 60 on it therefore it doesn't work the same actually it doesn't work at all I am left with a cloudy pool which I have tried to attach and every time I try to do something the write a review starts over and I'm tired of it so just send me two replacements with the number 60 on the bottle

Algae Guard Advanced is causing excessive foaming and has created a cloudy problem in the water. have used are the recommended dose. Is there a solution for the cloudiness. Clarifier, flocculent and proper choline level is not correcting the problem.
