Humminbird 780029-1 UC H7 - Unit Cover HELIX 7 Models

This cover fits good, looks good, and helps block my helix 7 from the elements when not in use. Great product.

I got exactly what I ordered and ahead of time.

Perfect fit. I would have preferred hard plastic in white or black.

Seems to be adequate so far. Secure with bungee when trailering. Lot better than nothing. Will see how it holds up.

I bought a cover for my Helix 7 and my Helix 5. They look nice. I expected the covers to be all neoprene but only the part that touches the screen is. They fit extremely tight and are hard to get on, and because the power button on the Helix sticks out you will need to make sure you cut the power or the unit will power up. Some of the stitching is stretched and showing. Also, the rest of the material is a thin vinyl and I suspect not very durable. these covers weren't expensive but I wouldn't buy them again.

Even though priced lower than OEM this cover is not worth more than $5.00. It is not even elastic so that it will stay in place. I only recommend because a cover of some type is needed to protect the item. This is an instance of overcharging because there are few alternatives.

Just another disappointment from humminbird... I have never had more buyers remorse in a brand in my life. Luckily this is the cheapest thing I hate from this company. I just cracked the gimbal on my g3 (because it's plastic unlike my g4) trying to put this stupid thing on. It's so tight I literally broke it trying to put it on.... Do you product test at all??? Or are you just drop products and laugh at us to the point of tears and wiping your eyes with dollar bills?
