Hunt's Tomato Sauce Tomato Sauce, 15 oz, 6 Count

I always have these on hand. The sauce is tasty and I don't have to have fresh tomatoes to fix up a good meal quickly. Particularly now with the pandemic going on, I am not shopping for groceries often, so having this product delivered was wonderful.

Hunt's Tomato Sauce is perfect for add on creations or creating your favorite sauce, dip, etc. the six-pack comes in handy for when you are a tomato lover or just cooking in large amounts. The price of this six-pack was very reasonable. I recommend that if you are looking for a great bargain, this is one you want to pick up.

The interior Hunt's box was damaged/torn in several places and 4 of the 6 cans were badly dented and not safe to use. The shipping box was very sturdy and undamaged and the packing material was more than adequate, so the Hunt's box of cans had to be damaged before it was selected to be shipped (i.e., damage did not occur during shipping).

Took away a star for dented cans, but I just cooked them up right away and froze with meatballs. During this time od lockdown I am happy for whatever I can get. The taste is great. Thank you Walmart and suppliers for your hard work during this stressful time, you are in my prayers.

I buy this case of tomato sauce to keep on hand in my pantry because it is so versatile in so many different recipes, I am never caught off guard if I decide to whip something up at the last minute. It is a great value to buy in bulk like this, the quality of the tomatoes used are among some of the best canned tomato sauce you can buy.

Really frustrated. All 6 cans are seriously bent, not even minor bends, in the cans. The box was overpacked. Not sure whether Walmart replaces something like this. Debating whether I need to try to can the sauce now in jars, or maybe freeze it containers? I seem to get too much freezer burn in my freezer tho. It was a good price, but not when it gets here damaged.

Hunts is the only brand of sauce we use in our house. Its local and trusted in all our dishes. I grew up with this name and Im supporting this company because the freshness of their products. Taste is everything to us especially in our spaghetti and lasagna meals.

Tomato sauce was good quality for the price. Unfortunately, I had to return my order because 4 of the 6 cans were badly dented. Walmart instructed me to discard the initial order and quickly replaced the carton of 6 cans. However the replacement order contained 2 badly dented cans. I believe that the lack of packing paper was responsible for the dented cans because the cartons had split open, allowing the cans to bang together. Good that I kept the original order until the replacement order arrived. Between the 2 shipments, I was able to salvage 6 cans and discarded 6 dented cans. If packing paper or similar had been used, the damage could have been avoided. Good sauce; poor packaging!

This item is extremely salty. The 15 oz can contains 2660 mg of sodium, compared with 700 mg sodium in their standard petite diced tomatoes of the same size. There is no indication that the contents will be nearly 4 times as salty. I threw it away. I did not like the taste.

i order a 6 pack of this product and was going to cancel due to the price of the item and could not cancel order because of time limit which is understandable but Walmart sent the item earlier than the shipping date Posted and I received 8 can which made my day thank you Walmart. Be sure to check the prices and any shipping charges may be cheaper just going to the store and buying one can at a time if you're able to get to a Walmart store.
