Hyper Tough 11-Inch Gasket Scraper

It's a great gasket scraper made grade materials. The USA made Hyper Tough pry bars with striking cap and the 2 piece mini pry bar set are made by a well-respected US manufacturer that's an OEM for many companies. The Walmart tool department has most of the tools that a home DIY would need.

Nice rugged inexpensive tool and made in USA. Great for removing seals, scraping applications and whatever your heart desires.

i recently broke the scraper that i have used 30 years. this is the perfect replacement. right size %26 shspe. seems to be durable. will let you know in 30 years. 😁

This review is for a Hyper Tough Gasket Scraper. The scraper measures 11 inches overall with the handle being 4 of the 11 in. total. The handle fits my hand comfortably. The handle is primarily square with the corners rounded. The metal shaft is one 11 in. piece that runs all the way through the handle with a metal cap for those times when the gasket material and sealant have hardened so bad you need to chip it off. The blade part of the scraper is a good size for scraping in preparation of installing new gaskets. The blade is also sharpened on one side as it needs to be to do the job cleanly but not so sharp as to cut yourself easily. I also like the springing action of the shaft depending on how much pressure is applied which helps control how much gasket material you get under and scrape off. The red handle is such a contrasting color to the shaft which makes it easy to see whether in my toolbox or the workbench. This gasket scraper is my first opportunity to use Hyper Tough tools and I must say I am impressed. I decided to paint the underside of a mower deck and used this gasket scraper to help remove rust and caked on grass and the gasket scraper made that chore much easier and faster than the last time. This scraper has already proved it's usefulness to me and I recommend it.

These scrapers work great. The striking cap helps with real thick or stuck gaskets. Great for the price. Would buy again.

This tool is great for scraping gaskets. I work on small engines and it removes head and sump gaskets with ease as well as working on other gaskets as well. The engines that I work on are most often aluminum and this tool best works for me as a hand scraper, even though it has a metal end that may be used to strike you can damage the aluminum it you use a hammer to strike it. The blade is flat and thin which are best for removing gaskets. It is hardened metal so it is very difficult to damage the tool. The plastic handle allows for better grip and reduction of vibration. For a gasket scraper it is as good as any I have used and better then many. It will be well used and in my tool box for a long time.
