Hyper Tough 1/4" Pistol Grip Blow Gun with 3.5" Extended Nozzle

This product works very well for what we need around the house. My husband used it with his air compressor to clean something in the garage and he said it worked perfectly. The quality is good, even though it's plastic. So, perfect for occasional use which is probably what most people are going to need it for. I would buy this product again!

This Hyper tough pistol grip blow gun with extended nozzle is just what it says it's for an air hose and makes it so you can target tight places that a regular air hose would blow all over this extended narrow tube allows for a powerful blast of air at right where you want it. The lever allows better control of how much of the air you want out at one time and it worked great on all our fans we have going in this heat. Very happy with it and if it makes my job easier for cleaning things like the fans I am in 100 percent!

This is sturdy and works great. It is something that I use at work everyday all day. It fits great in the hand and is extremely easy to use. It is made well and I expect it to last for a long time.

This Hyper Tough HT14BG 1/4 Pistol Grip Blow Gun works as advertised, only better. At just under 4.5 ounces (even with the hardware required to attach it to the compressor hose) this feels light. At the same time, it feels sturdy and substantial. And when you attach it to even a small compressor like mine, there's plenty of power. The ¼” air opening pushes the air fast and clean, even with my small 1.5 gallon pancake compressor. My first use was to clean out the keyboard of my computer. Somewhere along the way I lost the panel that lays under the keys to keep crud out of the computer and the keys catch everything. Well, this Pistol Grip Blow Gun cleaned that out perfectly – better than a can of that expensive dust spray. Next I used it to spray the junk out of the car air filter, extending its life. Finally, I used the nozzle to clean off my work bench where I had been grinding some metal. Another use I haven't tried yet is blowing sawdust off woodwork. Works for everything I've tried with it so far. It's important, however, to remember there are some safely issues when working with compressed air. Anything greater than 30 psi can create air embolisms if you point the nozzle at your skin, and this nozzle doesn't have any other openings other than the ¼” jet. Don't point it at your eyes or your skin (or anyone else's). Do a little research before buying this Hyper Tough Pistol Grip Blow Gun, but buy it. It does the job.

I already understood the safety issues when using compressed air before offering to review this Hyper Tough Pistol Grip Blow Gun, but that won't stop me from using this properly. It does the job.

This is a light, compact, blow gun that is easy to use. The valve operates smoothly, and air flow can be throttled as needed through the 1/4-inch opening. The handle is designed to allow the blow gun to be hung from a hook, which is a convenient feature. One significant drawback of the product I received is that neither the gun nor the packaging gives the pressure rating of the tool. I used it at about 100 psig, but I have no idea what the maximum pressure rating is. I'm surprised the blow gun can be sold without a pressure rating, as it presents a safety issue. The plastic handle makes this suitable for light household use, but it is not suitable for industrial use.
