Hyper Tough 16-Inch Toolbox – Heavy-Duty Resin Storage with Padlock Security & Small Parts Organizer

I believe this is a Walmart brand. I’ve bought many items from this brand and I am always impressed first of all because it’s affordable second of all because it’s well-made and I’m not just talking about this one thing but the four other large toolbox I bought from this brand you can use it hard and it won’t let you down. I’m surprised that there’s quality like this at this price available I become kind of a loyal purchaser of this brand well organized, good looking study. good night.

Solid small tool box with a secure latch. Much better build quality than similar store brand models this size from Harbor Freight, Menards, Dollar Tree, etc. For those if the box gets twisted at all the cheap latch is apt to pop. This one uses a metal hoop that is pulled down by the latch to secure it.

I bought this for my 3D printing tools and it’s been a great little organizer for a single 3D printer setup. It seems fairly sturdy, and the 13-inch size is just right for holding scrapers, hex keys, nozzles, pliers, and other small printing accessories. It’s easy to move around and keeps everything in one place. Nothing fancy, just practical and useful.

My old metal toolboxes were all rusting out. The wife said no rusted tooboxes in her new vehicle. This.toolbox is ok. About average size for its price. Strong enough to hold basic tools. Seems sturdy enough. imo, good enough for the around-the-house handy man.

the hyper tough brand tool boxes I have four of them now I have the I believe it's a 12 in and then I have three 16 inch. they're all wonderful I love the storage on the top of the 16 in. I use them for anything from tools to putting those odd items that you aren't sure where they should go. to make up and Nail Care. they're of good quality they hold up well they can take a lot of weight. I'm confident they will last me for years.

This is a great little tool box. It feels to be made out of a durable plastic, I wasn't able to find exactly what type of plastic it is. The tool box also looks fine. I love how they cut the corners of both the box and the storage tray. Walmart beat out HF with this gem even though the HF one is a bit less money. It is the perfect size for organizing smaller tool stets. Thus far I have purchased two. One will be for my brake bleeding tools, one will be for my crimping tools. There is one minor negative, the latch is tough. It takes two hands to open, one to hold the box down and the other to pry the latch open or push it shut.

Much bigger than I expected, it's light weight. Plenty of storage space . It has a handy lift out tray and 2 storage divided containers built into the top for various fasteners or small items. Even has a space for a padlock for security. Excellent quality. It could be used for craft items, but I use it for my diy tools. Definitely recommend. Love it❤️❤️❤️

I w finally able to isolate most of my bike tools into one tool box. the box is decent quality, not the toughest feeling of plastic but should up decently if not thrown around. I like that the top stays up and doesn't fold over when it's open but the mechanism doesn't seem very durable so I expect it to break eventually if you open the top too fast or have too much weight on the small parts compartments. it also has a full tray that sits inside the compartment which is useful.

When it comes to Hyper Tough products, it’s close to impossible to honor the warranty. Hyper Tough is a Walmart brand but Walmart treats it as its own company. So if you go to try to return it in store, even if it’s under warranty they will likely say “sorry you’re past the 90 day return”. I’ve also chatted with an associate online, and when I got this same hyper tough toolbox around 2022, I reached out and guess what, it’s been 3 years still haven’t heard anything. So if you want to get it get it but you will most likely not be able to use the warranty. Also even hyper tough’s website, isn’t run by hyper tough lol scroll to the bottom it’ll say it’s fan-run. If you can, get a tool from Costco because at least you’ll have peace of mind when returning it. I wasted so much time trying to get refunded, don’t do what I did.

Pass!! The plastic chemical smell on this thing is horrendous! I didn't have one bug once fight or nothing come near my mudroom the entire week I owned it to try and air it out and leaving it in the mud room. Just don't get this one. It's so badly offgassing and toxic smell. Shame on Walmart for carrying this crap and charging us a premium for everything.
