This item is great durability for a variety of things but I use it for the garden staking up my plants and all you need to tie it once and it will hold up very well good.

perfect for the garden
you can always use some good twine around the house and garden.this is seven pound working load, which is plenty of strength for small jobs. i will use it to tie up my tomato plants when i get them in the ground. it is 190 ft which will be plenty for my garden needs.

Kinda smells oily. Not sure it's healthy. But I have used to tie up my tomatoes. Wish it smelled like jute I remember in burlap bags

Don't Waste Your Money - It Stinks
I bought this because I need something to tie some plants up. I like that it says it is biodegradable. However, it stinks. It was delivered to my home and before I took it out of the bag I could smell the chemicals. It has been sitting on the table for a few hours and it stinks every time I've walked by it. I won't be using it, that's disgusting. And saying it is biodegradable is a misleading statement.

Smells like kerosene! Why?
I got this to tie on Christmas gifts for a rustic look. And it does look good but it smells like kerosene. And it has an oily feel to it. It was from the craft section and should not have this horrible smell to it.
