I wish I wouldve gotten a picture of thus thing in action. It works so well and cuts through thinhs like butter. Im really impressed with it especially at the low price point. It seems to be nice and quality. Once the cost of lumber goes down were going to be building everything with this.
Works great Has good bits with it and 2 batteries
great battery operated tool so no power cord to worry about. used this for small cuts while rebuilding my deck from wood to composit.
This tool was surprisingly well made. The construction feels sturdy. The battery is fast charging and held a powerful charge through several different cuts. You will need to get a better blade but the one it came with was ok. I cut metal pipes, thick PVC and different woods to include plywood and 2x4s. The charger seems a little odd in that it doesn't have a standard base but it worked well. I just worry that it might not be durable enough for back of the truck jobs. This is a really nice little saw for medium jobs and excellent for around the house. Surprisingly impressed.
Very satisfied, for the price very nice tool to have good thing already have a same brand cordless skilsaw helps with switching the battery since it doesn't last long otherwise happy with the purchase.
So my husband is one of those guys with a big shop and a lot of tools. He is particularly fond of Dewalt power tools and loves lithium battery powered tools. I, however, am just a simple girl. I love to do crafts and do all sorts of them. I came up with an idea to make wooden Christmas ornaments for gifts but I didn't have a way to cut the wood into smallish pieces to assemble into the ornament. Surprisingly, my husband did not have a jigsaw already. I didn't really want to buy a jig saw so I was very happy for this to come to me. In comparison, this jig saw was only about a third of the cost as a similar Dewalt jig saw and I think it will be fine for what I want to do. When I first started practicing I found it fairly easy to use. I like the variable speed and I love that it is cordless. It just makes it easier for me to use without having to fight a heavy cord. I have arthritic hands and very painful knuckles and I did find it this saw to be a bit heavy, but not more so than any other saw. Idiots have have to take breaks fairly frequently to rest my hands. The one saw blade that came with it will be good for most things, I think, but I actually went back and picked up a smaller toothed blade. I was cutting wood about 1/4” thick and a finer toothed blade worked better and made cleaner cuts. With the different blade the cuts were smooth and it was fairly easy for me to follow the patterns I had traced on to the wood. I def need to practice to be able to accomplish making the Christmas ornaments I want to make, but I am excited to see how it all goes. My husband has already borrowed it to do a few things and it is holding up well to his abuse too, lol. All in all, great for me and what I want to do!
This 20V brushed cordless jig saw is pretty cool with a tool-free blade clamp, built-in LED light (see pic). It has 3 orbital position settings and variable speed control trigger, a vacuum hose adapter, an edge guide and a wood cutting saw. The additional lock button helps prevent an unwanted trigger pull. I'm an amateur handy man doing odd jobs around the house and found this Hyper Tough Jig Saw was really powerful and useful when cutting through a 1/4" Plywood. I really liked the straight edge cut and the plunge cutting technique which helped with the unnecessary hole drilling for an inside pocket cut. The 20V battery holds a pretty good charge and the charger is simply a small piece that makes connection with the raised electrical contacts on the battery. Overall, it's a really good power tool that helped me out a lot with my little jobs around the house.
Does what it's supposed to. Make sure you have xtra blade's on hand if you're planning on doing any serious work with it.
The box arrived opened and damaged. The item looks like it was used and cleaned up. There was saw dust and the button was scuffed. I payed for a new item not a used one. Very disappointed, i will be returning it. Im not paying full price for a used item.
Description says it comes with a charger. Did not. Tool has been no use because I can't even buy a charger separately. Walmart is out.
