This kit was such a blessing to our wood working project! It worked really well from beginning to the end of our project! The impact and drill were really ergonomics, comfortable and lightweight, as well as with performance for our needs. The belt clip was convenient to use, sliding onto our belt and using our hands with maneuvering our project around. When it came to impacting in tight spaces, they performed to our expectation. The Reciprcating saw has been used on our off days to cut up some wood or do harsh cuts when we need it. It does require a bigger Amp Hour battery for bigger tasks, but with the 1.5ah it performs well for our needs. The light/charger has been used almost daily in our home, for light when cutting nails/painting, and charging our phones. We love the fact it charges our phones really fast! This set really made an impact in our lives, and we're glad to have invested into Hyper Tough to experience it!
I was looking for a solid drill that was also budget friendly. This drill came in clutch and hit those marks. I already had accessories for it so I wasn't too bother that it didn't come with much. The battery charger and lithium battery seems decent so far.
This drill/driver is a decent quality product for a fairly good price. I've used it so far to drill holes in a wooden door to install screws, drill a hole in my car bumper to run a camera wire through, and drive the screws on a ceiling fan that I installed. It's worked well for all of those things and I'm happy with the purchase.
for the money you're not going to find a better set, you're probably not going to find a set at all unless you manage to find a good garage sale find. however it's because of that price it's obviously not going to be the same quality as just going and getting a six piece Ryobi set on sale, or even better assembling a set from Bauer at HF from their Brushless lineup.
Not a bad drill has more power than one thinks, put it through some heavy work and it did a good job im impressed with the profomance for the money you can't go wrong
This is an okay set for occasional use around the house, but not much beyond that. The value for money is there, but I would certainly purchase something a little better if I planned to use these tools more than a few times a year. My biggest complaint is with the keyless chuck on the drill/driver. It is tiny and lacks the proper surface area / texture to get a good grip on it. I do like the fact that these are brushless, which means better battery life and longer overall service life for the tools. Four stars seems like a fair rating, especially considering the low price for the set.
My Hart combo kit from 2 years ago is still very useful except the reciprocating saw gave up after minimal, relatively ‘easy' tasks. In comparison, this combo seems more capable and robust. If my opinion charges I'll report back. Just one glitch: one 1.5 amp hour battery's state of charge indicator is faulty. I think it's the switch. My voltmeter indicates 20.7 volts but all of the indicator lights are off even when I depress the switch several times. I hope customer service can help. Otherwise 5 stars for a DIY'er all day long.
Purchased 2 of these. Price of single battery greater than price of the drill plus battery. One drill's chuck does not hold drill/driver bits solidly. Frequently comes loose and requires chuck to be re-tightened. Second unit sounds like motor is about to go out. The batteries work fine with the older Hyper Tough drill I own. That drill works well. The newer ones not so much. Walmart's replacement of Hart for Hyper Tough may have solved the issue. I can't say as I no longer purchase tools like this at Walmart.
I was going to see if you can replace the drill bits that go with this drill. I ordered it because I am a single mom, and sometimes I need a drill. I accidentally threw them away when I was moving. I don't have enough money to buy the whole thing again. If not, it's okay. I was just hoping. :( Thanks -Sheri Steele
I order this drill online it has no charger an no battery, an it had a reduced sticker on the side of the box, this was not a item that was supposed to be delivered from a online purchase
