Hyper Tough 20V Max Cordless 13-inch Battery Powered String Trimmer, HT22-401-03-05

I'm very hard on trimmers and this is my 3rd in 5 years! I like this brand so much I've bought two. The only thing I hate is when the twine needs refilled.. its hard as can be to get the spool out...the only bad thing I can say! It runs so good I deal with the spool. :)

Trimmer has worked great right out of box my only regret is that i didnt buy one sooner im 70 years old and its nice not to have to use a heavy gas trimmer you have to crank and crank to get it started greatest trmmer i have ever used and will buy another one 👍

It's the only cordless I've used that kept power the entire time I was using it!!! Tips: 1. This model has the 20V 4.0 amp (NOT 2.0) battery. Purchase a second one if you have a huge yard. The trimmer ran for about 4.5 hours when fully charged doing THICK trimming in two yards. I HIGHLY recommend buying the FAST CHARGER accessory at the same time as this. The standard charger that comes with this model took over 8 hours to charge.

I had two Wild Badger trimmers that were junk. That was concerning because my blower and trimmer are awesome. I really hesitated making another trimmer purchase...I'm delighted I went with Hypertough! Easy assembly for a woman and lightweight enough. My yard isn't huge but needed trimming and the battery lasted front, back and sides. I would definitely recommend this product! I would purchase again if needed. Price point was excellent!

Overall I give it 3 and half stars. Trimmer worked well but was not as powerful as I thought it would be. Good for grass (under 8 inches) and small weeds, nothing more than 1/16 diameter. Had the 4 amp battery which lasted only 45 minutes with continuous use. All right for the money but if you have a large yard (which I do) you might consider a second, more powerful battery or a gas powered trimmer. Bought this mainly for my wife as it is light weight and easy to use. Seems sturdy enough but time will tell. Also purchased the 3 year warranty as trimmers are notorious for breaking down.

Just got it today and it seems like it will be really nice if I could put it together! It is suppose to come with 3 dang screws and they are not in the package.

Worked very nicely for first two uses. Then it wouldn't switch a 3rd time on even though the 20v power source still had juice. I recharged the power source, but the tool still didn't switch on. Points for the tool's previously excellent work but points off for it giving up so quickly. What gives?

There is no automatic feed with this….so every few feet you have to stop turn it upside down and let more line out. Make trimming your yard take twice as long.

Used it once. The string jammed around the head SHAFT. Threw it in the trash. Might not be the worst tool I've ever owned but it's definitely in the running.
