Honestly, I did not but this for a trimmer. I used it to clean out a small drain line and it worked perfectly. It's true to size and I am sure that it will works as a trim line. I have had trimmers in the past and would not hesitate to buy this line for them.

Had been using the blue stuff(with the little cutting edges). The Shakespeare line came next day, loaded easier, feeds well, cuts cleaner and seems to be more durable. It's for electric/battery powered trimmers which I have. Don't know what the difference is but this is pretty good stuff.

Living in the country brings tough weeds that I needed a heavy string to cut. This is tough enough to last me several trims instead of the weak green line I was using that got used up fast. I am impressed with this product.

I switch from a brain name from owes and it really out preform it. Lasted longer cut beater. Now I can use 2.5 batteries before I have to add more string.

First time buying this trimmer line and it's easy for me to reload my cordless weed eater, it's very easy to manage and it gets the job done for my backyard.

the line is pretty tough and I kept thinking the spool was going to run out but it lasted longer than the brands I had been using. good stuff and reasonable price.

Cable material is thin and a spool-full of the line runs through the machine quickly, as it's easily "torn up" so to speak. I'd buy this brand again only if it was the only brand offered in that size/thickness.

line was not very durable. I have purhased other varieties of this line from the same manufacturer that were much better with only a slight increase in the price. Won't buy this particular variety again.

Will not purchase again. I had to stop every so often to dig the end out because it was entangled with what was on the spool, and I was very careful to load it correctly. It just kept fusing with the rest of it..

Completely unimpressed with Walmart communication regarding missing items on orders has happened several times and Walmart can sell items but when something goes missing they wash hands and let poor paying customers do their dirty work
