This is a new brand to me but I really like the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium Ion Drill marketed as a cordless drill for home improvement projects & drilling holes. I am amazed how much more powerful it is than my old 14.4V drill. I am not a big “do it yourselfer” but when you need a drill you want one that works well. I also love that this drill is very small compared to the less powerful older drill and that is great for storage and especially for convenience and ease of use. Being lighter and having a smaller handle make it easier to securely grip especially when working on a ladder. Features include 3/8" Keyless chuck, 15+1 Adjustable torque settings, LED work light, LED battery charging indicator, Built-in bit holder, and 3-4 Hour battery charging time. The box includes 1 cordless drill, 1 Li-Ion battery pack, 1 CEC charger, & 1 double end screwdriver bit. They also separately sell a set of bits and attachments and a carrying case for the attachments and the drill. But it works fine if you have other drill bits and accessories from another drill. This is a little powerhouse drill that is great for odd jobs around the house and I recommend the drill to anyone looking for one.
Good, rugged drill. Battery is great. Really holds a charge! Built two porches and two sheds using mostly 3" plus screws for the framing and screws for the siding. And installed metal roofs using screws. Last one, being lazy, used the drill as a hammer to dimple the metal roof panels to start the screws. No Problemo! Incredible value!
man what a bargain this drill is absolutely perfect for DIY projects in and around the house i got mine a few weeks ago and im very satisfied with it, only downfall is i wished it came with 2 lithium batteries instead of just one but other than that great deal 😀
As a homeowner, I am always looking for tools and equipment that is reliable to use at home. I always find myself walking around those big-named home improvement stores browsing to see what equipment or power tools to get. It is absolutely insane the prices on all these so-called named brand tools. The prices are way too high for an average homeowner like myself. I am not going to be in construction, carpentry, or heavy-duty equipment repair so why would I purchase the most expensive brand out there? Sure, these name brands offer the best of everything – some features I know I am not going to use. So why spend more? Now enter the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill from Walmart. To me, this drill is heaven sent – decently priced, easy to use, reliable, and powerful. I was really surprised after trying out the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill. The Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill is smaller than your heavy-duty drill but it packs a lot of power to tackle any jobs. I assembled two 5-drawer dressers and fixed our walk-in pantry door with one charge. The Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill is easy to use with no assembly required. The box comes complete with the drill, battery pack, and battery charger. This drill also came with a Philips and a flat-head bit. The drill has a keyless chuck and adjustable torque – the same feature you find from those expensive name brand drills. The Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill also comes with easy-to-read instructions. So there is really no reason for an average homeowner like me not to fall in love with this drill. One feature I really like about the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill is the LED work light built-in on the drill. I love having to see the screws and bolts when I am operating the drill. I do not have to keep worrying about blocking the light whenever I am working. Unfortunately, I have not tried using this drill on heavier projects so I would not be able to see how I can push this drill to the max. In my opinion, the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill is powerful enough that it can tackle any projects without a problem. Projects around the house and backyard with no problem. I believe the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill is made for “do-it-yourselfer” like myself. I cannot say enough how lucky I am to find the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill that I can use all around the house. Why I have to go to those big-named home improvement stores? I don't know but I have to thank Walmart for this gem. I highly recommend the Hyper Tough 20V Max Lithium-Ion Drill for all to try. I guarantee this will make a believer out of you.
My husband calls this drill a "housewife drill", and he may be right, because it's perfect for me. I am not an expert on power tools, but I am so happy to have this drill. It actually is light enough for me to use, and powerful enough to complete my DIY projects. I have used (tried) drills before, but they were really heavy, and hard for me to hold after a short time. The instructions/user manual enclosed in the box, is very thorough. I appreciate that I didn't have to go on line to find the information. I like to be as knowledgeable as possible about the products I am using, especially since I am a novice power tool person. The initial battery charge took about 6 hours (the red charger light goes off when it is fully charged), and should be charged for 3-5 hours after the first charge. The torque regulator has 15 positions, with position 15 being used for bigger screws that require more torque. I have not used a higher torque than 3 setting, but for my projects this was plenty of pressure to remove screws. Inserting the drill bit took a little work for me the first time, but after I figured out the "keyless chuck", it was quit easy to keep the drill bit in. I used this drill to take apart a bed frame, and a small shelf. The drill had plenty of power to complete both of these tasks. There is an LED light on the base of the drill, that is so helpful. I really thought I would not benefit from a light on the drill, but trying to maneuver a small space to disassemble the bed frame, I gave it a try. Now I keep the light on whenever I am using the drill, it really does help to see the area you are drilling. For me, the rubber handle is also a big asset, it make the drill easy to grip, and stay firm while drilling. The drill has a 2 year limited warranty. I will highly recommend this drill to my friends.
Now I can handle most household, hobby, craft or building jobs with this Hyper Tough AQ70532G 20V Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill/Driver. It provides a consistant no load speed of 0 to 550 RPM with the variable speed trigger. This drill / driver also features a 15+1 position adjustable torque clutch to avoid stripping or overdriving screws with one setting for drilling only. I really like that the 3/8 inch keyless chuck delivers reliable holding power on all types of drill bits. The 1.3 AH battery delivers consistent power throughout its charge cycle. It comes with a CEC charger which will recharge the battery within 3 to 5 hour charging time. It comes with a built-in bit holder for added convenience. There is one double ended bit included. This drill / driver is lightweight, so my wife can easily use it also. It was very helpful when she put together a new metal shelving rack we recently bought. It was great that it is also equipped with an LED work light for low light working conditions, and I like that it has a battery charging indicator. The box includes the cordless drill, the lithium-Ion battery pack, the CEC charger and one double-end screwdriver bit.
i have had one for work for a while used daily, very good one of the best i have tried (gone thru a few) i had been thinking of a spare battery and the base just broke off and got a new one with the selling point in thr description that the battery is compatible with the entire line of 20v hyper tough tools. i found that is incorrect and the batteries are not compatible with the"entire line". the charger is also different and while the specs on the battery is the same it is keyed to not fit. no way to modify to fit as a charging pin is in middle position on original model where new one has a plastic key slot. i would liked to have the spare battey and liked the other charger better than the new one.
Pretty good drill. Not super powerful so I wouldn't use it for heavy duty jobs like construction or major home projects but its a good little drill for light duty home jobs. I use it mostly as a power screwdriver to hang picture frames on my walls and to tighted bolt screws in doorknobs.
Honestly, better than my Black %26 Decker drill that cost 3 times the price smaller too trigger is a harder pull tho. The light comes on every time that will help drain battery don't understand why the battery needs to charge 7 hours tho they should include the faster charger can't beat it for the price but on a work site ppl gonna look at you funny with this drill I purchased it just to use detailing car some rattling going on when you shake it
this drill is super low power, i expected it to be somewhat low but it wouldnt even drive a screw through drywall. The battery dies after full charge after only 3 minutes maybe and takes an hour to charge. i would even say its more suitable for my 3 year old as a toy drill than a functional drill for even the most lightweight activity. straight up disappointed with this purchase. would 1000% return if i had the packaging.
