Handy little light for close-up work and checking tight spots. It's not going to light up a room, but the pocket clip is convenient and it's bright enough for the job. Simple, cheap, and does what it should. I bought it by accident but it's nice to have floating around. doesn't include batteries. Good value

Okay, so this little Hyper Tough penlight? It's my everyday carry essential. Seriously, I use this thing constantly. It lives in my purse and comes in so clutch. Looking for something in the bottomless pit that is my handbag? Penlight. Need to check if that weird noise under the sink is a monster or just the pipes? Penlight. Trying to read the menu in a dimly lit restaurant? You guessed it, penlight. It's small, lightweight, and surprisingly bright for its size. 25 lumens might not sound like a lot, but it's perfect for close-up tasks. Plus, it's aluminum, so it's pretty durable. I've dropped it countless times and it's still kicking. And the best part? It's cheap! So if I lose it (which, let's be honest, is a distinct possibility), I won't be heartbroken. It's the perfect little flashlight for everyday use. Seriously, get one. You won't regret it.

Very impressive lights. Brighter than the older pen lights I used but still have excellent battery life. I left one on with original batteries and it was good for 3 to 4 hours. With alkaline batteries I left it on for 12 hours and it still has very usable light level, maybe half what it had new. The button on these is better than any of the similar pen lights I have as you do not have to press it below the level of the back rim, making it much easier to use with the thumb, a big problem with others I have used.

This is a high quality, solidly built little light. It is plenty bright and even though it is fixed focus the spot is where I like it at any distance. I was impressed by how smoothly the battery access end screws on and off indicating well machined threads. The on/off switch is on the end where you want it on a penlight and they put the battery orientation on the outside as you can see in the photo. You don't have to try to find it looking down a hole. I highly recommend this light for anyone needing a good penlight.

These lights are so great to have around the house, in my car, purse… just about anywhere. They give off great light to be so little. And they’re so lightweight. I’ll buy a few at least a couple times a month. I give them out to friends and family that comment on them. They are just so handy. Every room in my house has at least one in it. So handy on my bedside table.

I have had the Hyper Tough penlight for just over a month. I carry it most of the time and it is very useful. It takes up very little space in my pocket, being only five inches long and one half inches in diameter. I love it’s bright red color which stands out and makes the light easy to spot if I put it down. It uses two AAA batteries which were included with the light. The on/off switch is in the end of the light which makes for easy access. There is also a pocket clip, which can be removed if desired. There is a rubber o'ring where the unit unscrews for battery placement. This, no doubt, helps with water resistance. It’s amazing how much light this little product provides. It is rated at 25 lumens. I had no idea 25 lumens could light up an entire dark room. The light it gives off is white, rather than yellow like in older flashlights. There is a single led bulb in the light. The housing is a very sturdy aluminum. It reminds me of a mag lite I used to have. I have dropped the unit a few times, once on concrete, with no harm done. Hyper Tough is a fitting brand name for this light!

These flashlights are perfect for me. They are very bright and easy to handle. Work great for me during the night when I have to get up and I even use them when I have to walk in a dark theater or restaurant. Vision gets rough as you get older as well as being almost blind in one eye. These flashlights are just what I need and work well.

the batteries were corroded and when my son opened the flashlight he got battery acid all over his hands and in his eyes. the flashlights don't work from all the battery acid

Surprisingly bright for an inexpensive, small penlight. The size is only about 5 inches long and a half inch or so in diameter which makes it perfect to stash in a purse or to keep handy in a nightside stand in case of an emergency.
