I had a project over this past weekend where we needed to cut angles in some masonry items for an outdoor kitchen/ BBQ/ patio area a buddy of mine set up in his back yard. These cutting wheels were awesome! I was a bit worried that 3 might not be enough for the amount of (solid) bricks we needed to cut. These wheels lasted well beyond my expectations. They are thin but apparently really well made. Their thinness made made the cuts faster and cleaner. lots less dust created that other brands that I have used. I was worried that, due to how thin they are, they might shatter under load but they held up great. Gonna go buy a few more sets of these gems!

Finally decided to cut some ceramic tiles I've had for a while. I got a pack of the 3 piece masonry cutting wheels by Hyper Tough. Attached them to my angle grinder also by Hyper Tough. And let me tell you, these silicon carbide wheels cut through the tiles like a knife through butter. Clean beautiful lines, time saver, and just the outcome that I was looking for.

I found this Cutting wheel to work very well for cutting tile. I had so many pieces that needed cut at differing angles and these aluminum oxide wheels was what worked best. They lasted a lot longer than the average cutting wheels and allowed me to work a lot faster. These Masonry Cutting wheels helped me complete a job that I had been putting off for so long, As I needed to cut a square hole through the brick in my homes foundation, to run some pipes through. These wheels worked like a charm. I like them because they are tough and last a long time, without chewing down to nothing after a few minutes of cutting. They are well purposed for masonry and like I said, with tile. I'm sure I'll find many other uses for them. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who does their own tile or masonry work.

All the masonry cutting wheels I have purchased have been at least three times as thick as the Hyper Tough wheel. It looks like a huge Dremel cut off wheel. The thinner wheel made it much easier to cut along the edge of a garden paver and there was less dust so I did not have to keep stopping and waiting for the dust to clear. No issues installing it and it stayed tight on my grinder. I thought I might have a retention or slippage issue since since the wheel is thinner but I did not. Hardly any wear marks showing on the wheel after I cut my two notches in the paver. Seems like they will last a good long while.

We recently replaced a few patio blocks that were crumbling away from age in our backyard. My husband used these Hyper Tough masonry cutting wheels to cut the angles in the new patio blocks to make them fit our current patio configuration. He is very happy with them. They are good quality, they were easy to install on his angle grinder and did the job we needed them for. The three pack is a really good value and I would not hesitate to buy these again.
