For an inexpensive tool worked great. my old long lasting saw conked out while I was in middle of a project, picked this at Wal-mart and it worked and cut a nice line,. Only used for about about an hour or so but I am pleased with saw especially for how inexpensive it was.
It is a very good jigsaw. It has pllenty of power for small projects.. Blade lenght would not allow you to cut a 4x4. It would be nice if they would put in extra blades so you could cut metal and tile. Also a blade just for plywood because the regular wood blade will cut it, but it doesn't leave a smooth edge. The handle is nicely placed and changing the blade without an allen wrench is great because I am always losing it.
This saw does it all for me. It's a work horse. Its primary purpose is cutting holes in pelican cases for Bluetooth speaker builds. I did use it to make a work bench and 2 corner shelves out of 2x6” 2x4” and 1/2 plywood. Was it slower than a circular saw? Yes. But I didn't feel like, nor want to buy one.
Surprised at how much power this little jigsaw provided. Had to use it on a full size wine barrel. It took awhile but it did the job. Did not overheat. Very pleased with this purchase.
This is a great little Jigsaw for home projects. If you are a professional in this field, you will probably go through 1-2 of these a year. But if you are a DIY, this may last you several years. I enjoy this and find the features to be very friendly. The cutting speed is easy to control with variable speed dial, so you can match the rate of the cut to the material your using for the job. The Hyper Tough comes with a wood cutting blade, hex wrench and vacuum adapter. You can use it for cutting wood, plastic, metal, drywall and more. It is also compatible with U and T shank blades. It has a red color, making it simple to locate when you need to use it. This jig saw also comes with on-board wrench storage to easily keep your tools organized. It features a 6' cord length, so you can reach a good distance for your cuts. This features a vacuum attachment to keep you cutting area clean of debris. Overall a very nice Jigsaw! I received this product from the Spark Reviewer program.
For under $20, this item performs great! I was able to make some really awesome Christmas Cartoon characters for the front of my house with 1/2" plywood and this did just the trick for the job. I recommend this item for the price point and the regular DIY homeowner.
If you're looking for a jigsaw that will do what you need and you don't need a DeWalt or Makita, then this will do. It's cheap. It runs. But it was lacking the blade that was advertised, so I had to spend an extra few dollars to go out and buy one. It must have been a return, of which the customer kept the blade.
I needed to cut some circles and didn't want to invest in a high priced jig saw. I found this online and in stock at my local store. The base is adjustable for cutting up to 45 degree bevels, there are markings but their usefulness is debatable. There's an included allen key to adjust the angle. Blade changes are quick and tool-less. The included blade is good for a thin kerf, but snapped almost immediately while cutting particle board. The thin blade wandered on the Y axis leaving edges unintentionally beveled. I'd recommend buying some blades along with the saw to prevent any frustration with being in the middle of a project and not being able to use the saw.
First of all, I received this in a box that had already been open. It didn't have any instructions and you could tell it had been used then the blade on it was broken.
the tool itself is fine. it was the delivery that got an overall rating of 2 stars. the guy was 3 1/5 hours late, and items in the same order still haven't gotten here that was supposed to be here a half hour ago. idk what's going on with y'all, but please fix it.
