Well I never expected 4.5 lbs to feel so heavy! I inherited an axe years ago and never had to make decisions about it, so I felt a little awkward buying and using this one. Lots of logs later, after I've figured out to handle it, I'm very pleased. The weight is truly what makes this work on splitting logs into kindling. Very pleased with my purchase.

Definitely not a throwing ax ut a true splitter. I am pretty impressed with the ex and would buy another only I believe this one will last for some time, but guarantee if and when it does break I will surely buy another just like it or from the hypertough brand. Very impressed and pleased with this purchase and would urge others to buy and give it a try!

Hyper tough hasn't let me down yet and this ax is no exception. I'm not a lumberjack. I'm a guy who splits wood for a fir pit and this works for me. Holds a decent edge for what it is.

Everything I order something, y'all hype it all up like you have the item. Y'all acted like you had it so I continued my order. The MAIN thing I wanted %26ordered, it was not delivered because y'all didn't have it. If I knew it wasn't in stock, I wouldn't had ordered. Gave me options for the food for sub it out but not the maul. I really didn't need any of the other crap. It should be the first thing that pops up when you don't have it. Wish I could gave y'all 0 points %26 no tip knowing you didn't have it. My fault for not putting directions no maul, no food.

The blade arrived rusty and nicked. Now I have to process a return. I should have just spent a little more for a Fiskars.
